The snaps at the bottom connect to your pants IF you are riding an actual motorcycle. In the event of a crash, the jacket won’t ride up while you slide at 50mph down the road. Same thing with the sleeves. They are long so that when you put your arms up riding a motorcycle your sleeves protect your arms against road debris that kick up, rocks, bugs that hit you at 60mph+. I would never wear a fashion jacket riding a motorcycle, you would need a real riding jacket that accepts armor. This jacket would tear right up if you actually wore it on a motorcycle and crashed. This jacket has the real motorcycle jacket ques without actually being a jacket you should wear riding a motorcycle.
Because of your height, the Schott clearly looks better on you. I have a few AllSaints leather jackets and i love how they look on me because I'm 6' 2" and slim they have a "slim fit" aesthetic. That said, I will be adding a Schott to the collection in the near future
The cropped body on the Schott jacket and its tapering around the waist creates a more preferable silhoutte in my opinion, it gives a wider shoulder apperance. Maybe, the AllSaints would look better with layering a cardigan. but the flexibility of the lambskin would be a win for me, other hide biker jackets are functionally heavy and noticable when wearing for protection when motorbiking.
I think Allsaints milo biker looks good on you. It gives little bit of different vibes compared to Schott’s jacket, because it has no belt and those shoulder thingies. I got my Allsaints milo biker jacket during last year’s black friday sale for 250€ and I think it was worth it. It feels so butterly smooth & soft and it’s very lightweight, so I wore it very often during spring and summer.
Schott wins out here, period. Better quality materials, better fit and look, and it's built to last and last for decades. If anything--this video confirms my own perspectives about this particular competitor brand. While my personal needs and tastes obviously won't apply to everyone...to my mind, Schott is the clear choice here.
In all honesty, if you arr wearing allsaints for fashion and you dont really do things like ride. Go with allsaints, their fashion in jackets its like no other. Schott is more quality when it comes to riders. I honestly dont think they have enough styles to even build a wardrobe. Im sorry but in terms of fashion im going with alldaints. More fun to wear. They also dont look all stiff.
I have two All Saints leather jackets. You are not the only one with the long sleeve issue. I am 5'10 and wear a large, and the sleeves are a little longer than what they should be on me. I think that the Schott looks better on you. I Aldo own a few Schott leathers, and they fit much better and are better in quality. Great review anyway.
@Nes Phan LOL, your reviews are great. You have great points, plus you give us previews and ideas about styling these garments. Don't give up doing these reviews. 😉😆
You need to find a good belt suitable to your jacket. But Allsaint jackets are simply for a fashion not for functions and different purpose from Schott NYC. Short people like us we need a good leather alteration shop. I found a great one near me so they altered my jackets!!! Even under cold winter Uniqlo has a great inner down vest which you could wear under your biker jackets!!!

I disagreed at the butterly smooth part lol
@@NesPhan I’m guessing you’re stupid then or you just don’t have a sence of touch
@@NesPhanit’s stiff in your opinion?
Curious if you were going to get the sleeves shortened on the All Saints jacket?

Hey buddy , very long sleeves you need to wear XS!
Thanks for the tip
You’re too short for that jacket! Try Schott 613 or 618 sz 34 instead.. Schott is an American heritage!
