I used to live in Cambridgeshire and would come down to London to the West End to catch a show, go to my favorite restaurants, etc. My wife and I live in Warsaw, Poland, right now, and go to London twice a year. My favorite city in the world! I totally know how you feel 🙂
I don’t live in London but worked around the Earls Court and Chelsea and Kensington area for a few years. I visit regularly for concerts or events and stuff, but never really look at the surroundings in this way. Really making me realise I should appreciate the small things. Very nice vlog

I think it's a good reminder to try and occasionally frame your regular surroundings as if you were a visitor or returning from a long absence. Would that street you pass every day actually turn your head if you were a tourist? I'll try this the next time I venture out!

We just got back from Korea a week ago. We love the country, people and food. We have found your video fascinating. We went to Jeju, Busan and Fukuoka and Hiroshima for few days while we were in Seoul. We took Korean cooking lesson and leather craft lesson in Seoul too. I’ve been to London once (not including the many times I’ve been to Heathrow airport) and it’s my favorite city in the world. I liked it better than Paris, Barcelona, etc. I live in Boston and something about London’s mixture of old and new cannot compare with any city in the United States.

However I was born & bred in West London.. and HONESTLY not one of my friends, nor family have ever been 'pick-pocketed'/had a phone etc stolen, in London.... I do not get it!??!!! I',m not calling you a liar.. but you saying you have had your phone stolen THREE times... I find that VERY hard to believe! .. Honestly.... HOW??? How have you been so unfortunate and yet none of my 100+ friends etc have avoided that situation?? I struggle to believe that, Sorry. But, I do! I hate to say it.. but I think you are straight out lying.. it doesn't calibrate with the lived experience of the many others.. I implore you to be honest...

But these things do happen and are clearly more likely to happen in certain areas than others. Central London student areas must be considered very ripe for picking by gangs into this kind of thing. So happy after watching this Anna. Im Korean British myself and I lived in London too. Moved to Busan in 2019 and came back to London last year. I forgot how much I loved the city, my reaction was similar to yours. Even the food I missed, I mean it's no Seoul but I missed how good Indian food is in London.

This is what is missing in Seoul. The rich history reflected in the architecture. Seoul is (relatively) clean, it's safe, but one of the cons is that it's very tight and industrial looking. It's missing the quality buildings, that lasted through the ages.

in England people say "sorry" when they want to pass you but in America they say "excuse me". When I came to america I said sorry and Americans didnt understand why I said sorry so I had to change to excuse me after that. And another phrase I learnt in America that English people dont usually say is "all set" mean "im ok" in England.

London has gone downhill. Cost of living has also gone up massively even for basic things. Hard Place to live nowadays
