The Ockham Razor- it's a theory/rule (?) in philosophy, stating that the simplest explanation to the problem is usually the correct one, you shouldn't try to complicate things. Believing that we live in a global conspiration is far from being the simplest explanation.
"Usually" (or rather often) doesn't mean "always". If you follow Ockham's Razor consequently, then you end up with sollipsism, because it doesn't really need any assumptions as long as you are conscious. And you don't need to prove to yourself that you are conscious, if you are. And sollipsism cannot be refuted with logic, it is just not a pragmatic viewpoint.
