That CBS theme sure does take me back to when I was in my 20's watching Penn St play at Beaver Stadium but back then the stadium wasn't near the capacity it is now..
I went to Penn State from '92-'96. The section were we students sat didn't have that second tier it does now. Neither did the opposite end of the field. If I remember correctly. It was 30 years ago. Haha.
Intro was better than the game, Pure Nepotism going on in Iowa City. I feel bad for Penn St wasting a good white out on a team that has a Middle school level Offense. Fire Firentz
Was their only option unless you wanted it the first weekend of the year. B1G doesn’t allow for night games in November, and they’re tired of having it during the day it’s just not the same.
I agree. But I truly believe there's influence in the scheduling and you'll never see this game again between PSU and OSU or Michigan. They don't want to play in this game again even though both of them have done pretty well vs PSU
It was really for all the recruits they invited to the game. And for that reason, it was a perfect way to get some top recruits. We thank Iowa for their cooperation with the event.
@@bdkane721 It's pretty funny that if you watch the coverage of PSU on the B10 network, they still act as if Penn State is some interloper that is marginally related to the B10. No doubt when the California teams join, they'll pretend they don't exist, except as some far away teams from another planet.
They had no choice. The OSU and Michigan games are going to be BIG Noon Kickoff every year, and the Whiteout is only used for night games. Not to mention, Penn State was so mad after what happened the last time they played Iowa.

I was thinking the exact same thing! Just hearing that theme gives me goosebumps, but hearing it over a whiteout in Happy Valley? Chills.

Daniels was absolute homer for Iowa. We would rather have Gus call a game than listen to Daniels. He def isn’t welcome here in State College.
