Those that dislike this video of him feeding live fishes to the bigger fish and turtles, well in the wild they do eat live foods people just develop processed foods for substitute since it's hard to get a live ones.
If the shiners stay in a school it's harder for the bass to focus on a single one to eat, that's why you'll see more action tossing them out a few at a time.
You feed them so well is probably why it was less than you expected. One year the Japanese beetles were so bad after catching them in the bag traps I took them to a lake & dumped them in. The bluegills went nuts & the water boiled for several minutes until the slaughter was complete it warmed my heart lol 🐞🐞🐞 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟

There is a polarized filter. The pond is murky right now but will clear up this spring.
Angle of the sun and your angle to the water matter too. I bowfish and when everything is lined up, you can see clear as day!

oh wow, thats a lot of fishies. I wish you had put the camera in the water so we could see them better. I hope a lot get away to breed for later. You'll have lots more bass then. Maybe more turtles too. That would be fun. I was really impressed by one of your videos where you said the bass know by your footsteps and the gate, when you are coming. Interesting. I never thought fish could do that. Always impresses me how even the tiniest animal has thoughts and feelings and that. So facinating.
