This is all i need. Simple. Easy. Direct. No blah blah. Thank you very much!
I agree! No blah, blah, blah to have to sit through. I just had to comment on your post because I am constantly backing out of watching because of the blah, blah, blah.
This is so great. After about 10 tries I finally got it and did two cute ones. Thanks for the demonstration!
Where do u even find rope like this plz I need to know
@@LayinLoI got mine in Walmart just a little thinner, Michael's and Joanne's has this rope as well
Amazon too.
But these are unstable and prone to falling.
Thank you very much! I have had a few of these up successfully for months now!
I seriously didn’t think I was going to be able to follow along but I did and I thank you very much
I love this! I saw this somewhere a few years ago done by someone else.
Your video is perfect. Step by step, close ups of each step just perfect.
Can't wait to see more!
I did it and it worked from the first try. My pot in hanging beautifully now. Thanks💙
Thanks a lots for sharing this video.I tried three times and the third time it worked perfectly .Good ideas Thanks once more.👍👍
This is so great.i tried it 1time and i finally got it
Glad that something can ve this much easy
life can be simple and yet beautiful, like this video
this is pretty neat. but how do you determine the length of rope that you would need for a particular size pot?
I'll take a shot, the rope should be at minimum this long:
pi*potTopDiameter
+ 4 * potHeight
+ 2 * potBottomDiameter
+ 4 * sqrt(potTopRadius^2 + yourDesiredHangingHeight^2)
bjo
16 times the height of the pot
Thats ez 😏
I needed my wife's help to hold the rope and she would have nothing to do with it 😢
Thank you so much for this idea! I needed some quick hangers and didn't want to buy any.
Very good idea I will try it definitely
Its so simple. Thanks for sharing useful tip.
Great demonstration! Thanks. It would be nice to have a measurement. Like based on the diameter of the pot, its height and how high you want to hang it, how long should the rope be. That way you dont have to waste rope trying to cut it to the right size.
Did this between 5 - 10 times and it works!
Oooh! Woh! Yes!! This is happening!
thank you so much for making this easy to follow!!
Thanks for the share great tip
❤
Thank you for this easy technique n❤
Thanks for sharing, good results 👍
Thanks for sharing❤
It works!
Thank you, worked like a charm!!
WOWWW JUST EASYYYYY!!!
Thank you very useful and easy👍👍👍
Thanx Alot for this video tutorial 😇❤️
Great thanks, but needs much more length, at least 2 or 3 times that, for most larger plants. Also knot can be placed hidden under the pot rather than visible like this.
Cool easy enough
Just what I was looking for.. Very easy to follow and it looks cute Thanks!
Well done!
Tried and and came out well
Wondering how long the rope should be? 🤔 I’m going to give it a try!
This is a bad method, although the sides look fine, the ropes cross over underneath the pot without any knot or reinforcement to hold them in place- if it slips, the pot will fall...
Yes, but any other good method?
Nice good
Its working😃
Wow
i tied my whole house following this video
Wow ♥️♥️♥️
Wow! Magawa nga din to pag.uwi ko ng pinas.. thank you po ate😊
Easy explaination 😍😍nice
Glad you liked it
tqq❤
thats sooooo cute
I'm not going to use this to hang up plant pots up but instead, I'm using it to tie 5 liter water bottles as a replacement for dumbells weights.
Why? Because I'm not rich. That's why, baby!!
What a brilliant idea!
I saw this technique at a glance on a Asian Facebook post with lots of random hacks. Of course I just shared it with only me on my wall so I can get back to it just for this and then it went unavailable lol. So I googled and you were the 3rd choice. I picked you first because the time was shorter and from the thumbnail looked liked the right hack and it was. I totally remembered it by just watching you. Thank you. I think this is great for hanging many of those flameless color changing candles on wall behind the bed for bible reading lights that's not to much white light. Just a lot of yellow glow goodness. Especially if you already have candles holders in the wall on each side. Just adds more

Amen to that!
and thank you for sharing...God bless you..❤
Wow, that looks great - can't wait to try it! Thank you!
it is very easy
So I just tried that out and I hanged up my pot just smashed so do you think that’s okay to post this video and do this
How long does the rope need to be before you tie the knot at the bottom? This is a cute idea!! 💞
I'm assuming the length of the rope stated is before it was knotted and I guess it depends on the size of the pot and the length you want those 'handles'.. if your pot is bigger than the one in the video, then you'll need a longer rope.. I really think finding the right length for different size pots will be trial and error so maybe try a cheap roll of garden string that can be chopped up without you missing it.. I have a huge cone of jute yarn that I will be using to practice lengths once my new pots come before I buy and cut down the rope that I'll be using for the finished project 😁
@@claraleigh1271 that's what I did. Lol I used jute twine
@@myopinion4699 oo glad to know it works! Makes me less paranoid that it'll fall onto my head whilst I'm sleeping😁🤣
Where do you get that rope? Is it 100% cotton?
Is there a way to know how much rope you will need based on the pot size?
Best
Waaaooowwww
Where can get same kind of rope
Your pot can fall and break if you’re not extremely careful
It jumps at exactly 50 seconds and I don't know which rope you pulling at the end!
What size pot did you use?
Diameter is 4 inches and height is 3.5 inches..
Mine keeps slipping out
I tried a lot, but it's not working 😢 😕
I did this and the pot fell and got dirt all over my computer 😌
Bro they liked the comment💀
you have to tighten up the crossing ropes at the base, I realized that and secured them... It's great but has its trick
Maan i did it it was working but it fell after minutes so I say it that it will take 50 sec to make and will stay for 5 minutes ! So it is a 5 min craft
@@teresamendizabal846 can you please make a video/? I am only visual learner :(
Haha me too
This isn't a very good design, depending on what type of rope you use, I used cotton and this thing feels like it's going to slip off the pot at any minute.
Thank you for zooming in on the different twist and flips. It really helps to see exactly what is going on.
Knocked the pot over three times and spilled soil too whoops
lol i would use a knotted style instead for plants. one earthquake and that pot is going straight to the ground.
I wached this 7 times now and in one of my attempts i broke my pot. I know im bad at following instructions and stuff but i couldn't be the only one who messed this up
same. exactly same.
Same here aswell 🥲😢
You are not the only one
I almost got it. Just keep practicing
Yea I can't get it to tighten at the end.
This is amazing, my pot is hanging beautifully. Thank you for the tutorial 💜
This is simpler then all the diy plant hangers I seen so far.
That's because it's not very sturdy
@@sierracarlson5268 .
@Devesh R idk I put this reply 6 months ago ;D
@@sierracarlson5268 did it work for you? I might try it
@@sierracarlson5268, This is basically a double barrel hitch, and people have been using the barrel hitch for hundreds of years for hoisting cargo onto ships; it's pretty sturdy.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrel_hitch
Took me about 3 tries but I got it! I didn't have any rope so I used cotton yarn that I chained to the length and it turned out super cute. I managed to put the knot on the bottom side.
That’s what I was going to do! I was just trying to figure out how long to make it.
Question for @MomDoesDIY: What kind of Knot do you have tied at the end of the rope? Thanks for posting this video!
ua-cam.com/video/TcSGOQVhsWk/v-deo.html ...it's in spanish but the video shows the knot process :D
It is so frustrating to get it right 😬
Hello di maine aaj hi dekhaa aur turant bnaa liyaa mazaa aagyaa behtereen idea ❤
You teach me things. It's simple. I save money. I love u.
My shot at figuring out the rope's minimum length:
pi*potTopDiameter
+ 4 * potHeight
+ 2 * potBottomDiameter
+ 4 * sqrt(potTopRadius^2 + yourDesiredHangingHeight^2)
16 times the length of the object you're hanging.
Really
Worked just exactly as shown! LOVE IT!!! You just have to watch the video a couple times and then when you get ready to do it pause the video once you complete a step and it makes it work a lot better. I was hanging up a 12 inch pot with a big fern in it, and I cut a piece of rope 14 foot long shot, and it works perfectly.
Wonderful..thanks for sharing your ideas how to hang the plant..God Bless
Impossible, watched over and over, didn’t work, got so mad I destroyed my room
I wish all tutorial videos were like this! Thank you 🙏🏿.
This is the best video on this kind of rope hanger. I like the simplicity of this. It helps when you are busy and can't deal with making more elaborate hangers.👍👍👍
But does it stay in place? or will it shift if a heavy wind blows the hanging planter?
Can't get the ropes under the pot to stay
Amei o passo a passo! Matou minha curiosidade e facilitou o entendimento!
Bhut easy bhut sunder🎉
Simple yet brilliant!
Thank you 💕
Total fail for me after 12 times ugg
Not working... I tried this technique by watching on 0.25 speed 5 times..but its not happening.
Took about 10 minutes of adjustment to get it to sit right on the pot but my pothos is happily hanging now.
Thank you! I saw a different version of this same thing, but this one was so much easier! Quick and straight to the point!
A lot of other vid was really hard and wasn’t what I was looking for but this video was just the perfect one!
Wow definitely need this during the pandemic.
Oh dear .. I'll throw you a life jacket!
Hi, thanks for the vid. I tried myself too. So happy that I can avoid buying a ready made plant hanger from the store. Cheers!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! I normally hate videos that the person doesn't speak but it didn't matter. You made this video short but very informative. I did one right after watching this video and planted my wondering Jew in it and I'm getting ready to hang it up. Thank you so much!
Too often they talk too much and what they are gabbing just makes what they are doing hard to follow. This is so simple, it needs no instructional naration.
Don't build this. There is nothing holding the loop together and unless the pot is perfectly centered it will slip and your pot full of moist soil will explode all over your living room.
Spend a few extra minutes and make a macramae style hanger. It requires the rope to be cut but it doesn't suffer this problem
Thank you so much I’ve been trying to find a simple video to make this 👌🏼 the others have been too fast and had to keep pausing!! Thank you again it was driving me mad coz I know it’s so simple to make 🤦🏻♀️
I’ve been using this method for about 3 years, different types of pots and it works but…… I’ve got this video marked and have to play it at least 4 times to figure it out each time
I tried this for a grappling hook but it didn’t work big surprise nothings going my way
What would help is a table listing the rope length needed fo a given diameter. Better would be a formula that calculates based on circumference and height.
I hate this ALL the comments are fake it just falls out thanks youtube 🙄dislike
My problem is that the rope is keep sliding off at the bottom, what should I do?
Just watched twice and now I got yeheyyy thankssss ❤️❤️❤️💚💚💚
Okay. You’re a magician. My husband and I both watched this video about 10 times and our plant hanger still doesn’t look as great as yours! Pretty easy and neat trick!! ♥️
This is not one minute, took me 5 tries and didn’t accomplish. I even where dungarees
