Drax Project are four suburban white boys who got a loan from their mommies and daddies and money from UMG to make . . . incredibly shallow pop songs with fake beats. You can listen to them for fourty minutes and not one lyrics sinks in, for some reason it's even inaudible.
In the NZ region with lockdown prohibiting touring acts or travel, their local Mai FM and More FM - fairly wide-reaching daytime networks - allowed Six60 to book some huge local gigs. Drax Project were a contributing artist at this time, but two years later no-one cares.
People talk about how they're "real musicians" but every beat, groove and change is just fake computer music, and the songs have as much depth and authenticity as a plastic bag. Awful.
