Drax Project are four suburban white boys who got a loan from their mommies and daddies and money from UMG to make . . . incredibly shallow pop songs with fake beats. You can listen to them for fourty minutes and not one lyrics sinks in, for some reason it's even inaudible. In the NZ region with lockdown prohibiting touring acts or travel, their local Mai FM and More FM - fairly wide-reaching daytime networks - allowed Six60 to book some huge local gigs. Drax Project were a contributing artist at this time, but two years later no-one cares. People talk about how they're "real musicians" but every beat, groove and change is just fake computer music, and the songs have as much depth and authenticity as a plastic bag. Awful.

Him talking about that feeling at 15:00 is EXACTLY why I love his music so much. Woozy is an incredible artist. I couldn’t have articulated that feeling better. It’s heavy, but it never gets too weighty and never loses itself in the heaviness.

Wow! I can’t believe I’m the first to comment on a 2 year old interview with these guys. Truly enjoyed this. It’s good to see how humble these dudes are. My favorite band since I heard them for the first time. As a singer-songwriter I hope to one day meet someone or some people I can gel with and create something special.

I love this interview! I absolutely love Tim's music and I love the way his music has grown over the years to be more in depth with feelings, and thoughts, and looking at things with new eyes, and with your heart. He has grown and as a result, I feel I have too because I can really connect with some of his more recent songs. I love the funny songs too--but I think that he is doing more thought provoking work now and He has learned and gained insights to things we might not yet have seen or experienced and it is like he is teaching us how to open your mind, see things for what they are, and then flip it over and see the other side of it also. I just love him and his work. I have listened to all of his songs, I really like I Will Carry You, Airport Piano, I'll Take Lonely Tonight, and I like his version of I Feel Like Going Home, even though that is a bit different and not actually one of his songs, I think people can relate to it sometimes. I like all of the songs on his new album. Love them all. And it is rare to find a musician who actually gives you all great songs on one album. All of the songs on this album are good. Thank you, Tim for creating these wonderful works of musical art to help us understand ourselves better and the world around us.
