- Tuena gave birth on the 15th of June. Gender is not officially announced yet by the zoo. But for the sharp eye, it is visible in this video. You'll see the whole group and the little black crested mangabeys. Mies had so much fun with the little mangabeys, it was so cute!

Tuena is a stand out mother . She is so devoted to her little one . She is so careful to keep her baby safe . I see her act a bit worried and very protective. What a wonderful mother . The Mangabeys always make me smile, they are delightful. ☺☺🥰

That first shot of mom nursing her baby was awesome.
I noticed mom smelling the baby. Do gorillas recognize their babies though the sense of smell?
And Mies playing with the mangabeys kept mom free to nurse her new born.

Echt een heerlijke video. Miesje zo ondeugend om het kuifje aan haar staart mee te trekken 😊 Tuena is erg liefdevol met haar baby waarvan het geslacht heel duidelijk waarneembaar is op jouw beeld. 💙 En wat onwijs mooi hoe hij aan het drinken is! O ja, Mies hing echt hoog aan de arm van Kisiwa!

I am amazed how these huge, powerful creatures handle their babies so carefully.
That Mama Gorilla knows how to breast her little one. Just like a human Mother would hold and feed , that is so amazing to me.

Miesje met haar gekke kuren is ook telkens een plezier om naar te kijken.
Beide mama's zagen dat de verzorgers het gebouw in gingen en dat kan betekenen dar ze eten krijgen haha

This is the first time that I've seen the baby clinging to the mother's arm as she walked. The baby is strong, and knew to not let go.

Yes N'Washi is the daughter of N'Gayla and she is indeed the mom of the twins and still lives in Burgers Zoo :).

So, they got a 1wk old and a 2wk girl?
Nope ;). Tuena her baby was born (15th of July) and Mies was born last year. The other baby gorilla on my channel lives in Antwerpen and was born on 24th of June ;).

Thank you Lieke!! I didn't know Tuena had a baby! I always thought Tuena was very affectionate and sweet. After seeing Tuena interact with Mangabey's here, I always thought she would be a wonderful and loving mother. I'm so happy she has her own Baby to spoil and love! Hi Mary Eddy, yes about two weeks ago. It was born on the 15th of July. ua-cam.com/video/gSzD9Y58p-c/v-deo.html this video was the first of when this baby was just a few hours old. And I've also posted one video of one day old ;).
And yes I've seen the videos. I know Bjorn in person :). Tuena is and was indeed lovely with the little mangabeys :)
@@bonniekenzie8545 , Hi, How are you?? Yes, Tuena is a sweet soul. It is wonderful seeing her as a Mother and the fun to come as Mies will have a playmate. Another page Claims the baby is a Boy! So, Tuena has a little Prince to love and Mies has a Baby Brother! All good here. Virus is so scary! Im so grateful the Keepers are keeping all our Gorilla Families safe!! I was so worried they would be infected. Thank God they are all OK! I hope you and your family are well. PLEASE stay safe too! Hope this virus ends. I finally bought a year pass to Philadelphia Zoo to see Motuba Family and BAM! Virus hits! UGH! I have no luck! But, they are taking visitors by appointments, Im ggoing to try and get in soon. So sad this is happening in 2020, never thought it would. ERIE thing is, Im noticing older movies that had the same situation of a deadly virus taking over... I didn’t know you could put monkeys in with primates.
Not with all primates. But gorilla's don't eat meat. That's why they won't harm the little monkeys ;). You should not put the monkeys with the chimps ;).

These garrillas are so skinny it's describing to watch when do they feed them I never seen garrillas so skinny in my life its.sad they look so weak and sick they starving them to death that should be crime animal cruelty what zoo is this this need to be reported in the wild they eat every min by the tons they vegetarians they need plants to eat every min they need to come rescue these garrillas they are suffering
