- The baby boy has got a name; Moos! The cutest thing happened! The little black crested mangabey has always been good friends with Tuena, and she lets them come so close to her baby. Although Tuena was definitely not paying attention because she waved her away later in the video. But yes, the mangabey fled the baby gorilla! Also Mies has a lot of fun and one of the mangabeys rides along on Kisiwa her back. It was so much fun. And also worth it, because it was 33 Celsius degrees outside and that's hot for NL.

How funny these Mangabeys are ! The one who kisses the baby is so sweet !
These small creatures are a little bit mischievous sometimes... but they are very playful.
Mum Gorilla is, as usual, patient and gentle with everybody and her lovely baby is well taken care of.
Once again my day is starting in an excellent mood, thank you very much.
When Mangabey leans down to kiss Moos my heart just melted.
This is something I've NEVER SEEN BEFORE, too funny and cute. Playing with Mangabeys and getting a ride from the mother Gorilla is awesome lolol

That's a great mama to accept those other primates on her back.
Tuena is a very gentle and patient mom. The mangabeys are very interested in Moos. They were very gentle with Moos though. I especially loved the gorilla school Bus! Everyone hopped aboard and off they went . This was a wonderful video!!! 🥰🦍

HAHAHAHA! I had to laugh so LOUD when Mangabey jumped on the back of child gorilla to have a ride by his mama, LOL! that was so funny to watch. Naughty beautiful monkey.

Is so beautifull how mother caries the baby .everyone else walking with the mom n baby folowing her .n how the baby is laying there with no strength only to suckle n hold on tide when mom has him on her back

Primates rarely inteact other spicies -including tail monkeys- in the wild. Exceptionally chimapzees hunt small monkeys. But in this kind of places, animals can develop friendship with each others.
That little one needs to be fed. Looks like he's starving he's so thin.😮

Are you *KIDDING* / *FOR REAL* ??? HaHaHa ...Seriously, Lieke, your exquisite videos are always so beautifully filmed... You really do have such a knack/talent in capturing such tender, heartwarming & intimate moments...Many many times I cry with emotion...
HOWEVER..... This unbelievably fun & exciting footage made me literally laugh out loud & cry at the same time...I can't remember *ever* seeing such sweet tender moments, & then the downright COMICAL ones...At times I had to blink...I could hardly believe my eyes...The cute little Mangabey looking like he's wearing an upside down, hairy looking, FUNNEL "parked" on the top of his head... *TOO CUTE* ...Not only when Mama Tuena gently kissed baby Moos, but when the ADORABLE little Mangabey tried sneaking in a quick little kiss himself, & then started grooming Moosie's little head, right before Tuena waved him off, was the "icing on the cake" as the saying goes...But But *BUT* ...When that sweet little mangabey felt so at ease & so playful, that he quickly & easily jumped up onto Kisiwa's back, & then clung onto baby Mies' back like a soft little pillow... *Well*. ... Let me just say I bet ALL my neighbors heard my ongoing hysterical laughter...So much so, I'm a little hoarse now...LOL...It was probably the funniest moment of ANY Great Ape videos I've ever seen...& that's a LOT..HaHa...I just really love, *L O V E* this very special video... *: )*

It simply amazes me hope a gorilla can get along with the Mangabey's and vise versa! If they wanted or got twisted about something the gorillas could easily hurt severely or kill the mangabeys. I love the fact that they get along so well with each other. Personally id be afraid to try and introduce them but it's heart warming to set how they interact with the baby gorillas and it seems they are adopted babysitters! Dang, I love mother nature and am so glad we have these and other primates to watch and care for! God bless you and your colleges for all the wonderfully beautiful work y'all do for and with these and other animals! Thank you for sharing your joy with us, it's very much so appreciated
Gorilla's are herbivores and that's why they at least would not eat the mangabeys. Ofc there is always a risk when they get angry with the mangabeys. But the mangabeys are much quicker than the Gorilla's. And well gorilla's are most of the time friendly giants ;). Thanks for watching!

That's an amazing shot you got of the little mangabey and Mies riding piggyback on mama, it's a wonder one of those big cute animal channels hasn't asked you if they could use it.

Aha, het kleintje heeft een naam, super! Spreek je het uit op z'n Engels als "Moes" of met een lange oooo? ;-)
Die mangabeys zijn wel hevige kereltjes zeg, hun snelheid van bewegen lijkt 5x dat van de gorilla's. Denk dat mama Tuena haar baby nog goed in het oog zal mogen houden. Miesje is haar schattige zelve. Bedankt Lieke, leuke video alweer!
Ik denk op zn Nederlands aangezien we ook 'Mies' hebben. Ja die mangabeys zijn snelle wezentjes ;p. Scheelt dat Tuena voor de geboorte van Moos al goed bevriend was met de mangabeys en ze haar regelmatig vlooide. Dus ze tolereert de mangabeys redelijk goed, alleen ze mogen er eigenlijk niet aan komen 🤣. Bedankt voor het kijken weer :)!
