Fun fact: When I was younger, my dad used to plays this gem loud inside the car while we were going to my grandparents house. I loved it, but didn't knew the name. Plus, I was like 10 years old and listening to the shitty French radio.

What lyrics! "I would beg. I would plead. I would shake. On a hook. Dangling. By the way. I'm so alone. Your beautiful. I'm no fool." Powerful in and of itself, but the lack of rhyming drives the message home with that much more clarity.

Slant rhymes:
plead and (dang)-ling have the same -ee sound
shake and way have the same -ay sound
so and alone have the same -oh sound
Beautiful and Fool is a syllabic rhyme (and kind of a head rhyme since -ful and fool start with the same letter)
There's plenty of rhyming in there, but yeah not just going with simplistic tail rhymes does make it sound better
Best QotSA album. Everything just seemed to come together for that album. There is not one track that is bad.

Man this album is really something else...i remember when i bought it and it was love at the first hearing! It really blown my mind!
And this line up was really magical, but clearly Nick was at the brink of the insanity...the snow is such a hell of addiction.

I believe this video was released just as Nick Oliveri was leaving the band, so it's kind of fitting... I interpreted it as a tribute to him.

I can play most the songs from queens on my drum kit, but this along with a few others are so difficult to learn, but I'm glad they now have Jon Theodore drumming he's just what the band needed to advance really i.m.o
