Damn tears, sat watching this film right now, a truly fantastic film, God bless to all the pit villages across the world 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I cry every time, and see this picture was deserving of its Best Picture distinction.
"No need for us to shake hands, we will live in the minds of each other."
愛とか誠実とか謙虚さや素朴さとか、大切なものを思い出させてくれますね。
That scene where the old men finish their beer and just drop the cup and step forward to go down, it gets me every time
I have seen this ending over 100 times and each time I'm a mess 'o tears.
Back then when movies had honor...
Thank you so much for the upload to this wonderful film.
thanks for posting this excellent film
This film has somehow eluded me for many years. It does not let its reputation down. Director John Ford was in a class of his own.
Yes of course that was only part of the John Ford ensemble Maureen O Hara, Barry Fitzgerald and his brother Arthur Shields, missing here was Victor Mc Laglin and John Wayne, this was 1939 ,Ford's very best work was not done in Hollywood, but in the early days of June 1942 on Midway Island, the pictures you see of the bombings by the Japanese were filmed by John Ford himself...he was an amazing director, this is my favourite movie of his ...
the brief singing of 'Llef' really 'got' me. Perhaps the saddest Welsh Hymn.
I just saw this for the first time so in love 😍
Thanks for posting this. I have been wanting to watch it so bad. I really liked this movie. It is as good as people say.
Brilliant film
@hari1408 Thank you for uploading this. I've been looking for it for years.
A line too few would grasp on this earth now.
It was like this when I grew up in Welsh county and grown on people and judge pePle hipocrits
couldn't agree more mate..
many ppl died down the mines, while trillions of pounds of money lined the pockets of rich mens from far off lands
Really gets me in touch with the sub cockle region of my heart, Ford was not so good for the american native indians though.
This split right at the scene I wanted to quote to someone....last part of 7 and first part of 8 in the church. More need to hear that I am afraid.
Y
Dai Bando was a real one.
