any suggestions for when I have to go and cut , lets say another 1/8 inch off, that this tool I also have will not do, to be able to cut it straight? when I use hack saw it always cuts at an angle. thanks

Ugh, good point. For really tiny slices this may not work. I also have the same problem with hacksaws. That little 1/8 inch is going to be a problem for just about any wheel cutting tool. Not sure how much space you have, but you could grind down that 1/8 inch of copper somehow? Maybe use a saw to cut it and then grind the edges with a rotary tool until it's mostly flat and straight?
