- creaproducts.com/ $39.99 for two sizes. How to cut your own hair in an A-line bob hairstyle. Step by step how to trim your hair and get a new Celebrity hairstyle! DIY and save money. Straight angled bob haircut, where it's long in the front for a stylish new look. Perfect shoulder length hairstyle
The hair cut does look bad, but it is enough of a guide to clean it up with scissors to make it look decent. I have been to so many hairdressers and they are all garbage, sick of paying someone to jack up my hair
Same here my shit is botched rn. They cut off 12 inches for it to look like crap
Same here! Sick of professional hairstylists that are horrible at cutting hair & sick of wasting so much money for bad haircuts. I can't believe how many garbage hairdressers there are. It's nearly impossible to find a hairdresser that actually knows what they are doing & actually is talented enough to properly cut hair.
Someone fixed it at the end result! Scam
Agreed
You fix it too when cutting it with scissors the normal way..
Hi
Right!!! Lol
Yes,still need to fix at the back.
I DID IT! From Over--Shoulder-Lenght to Chin length!! I must admit, first i thought, Maybe this wasn't the best idea and it was not soo easy - bit of a pain to check on the level ... but it looks just great and i get many compliments and when i say, i cut it myself, jaws are dropping :-))) . Thanks for this genius invention! Greetings from Germany!!
i just used a potato chip bag and got the same exact result HAHAHAH. $29.99 my ass.
this has definitely been trimmed/cleaned up with scissors- they showed obvious jagged bits on close up that were 'miraculously' gone in the final shot.. Crea clip looks like it would be good for getting the initial shape only.
+Alana Thomas it has most definitely been cleaned up after, you can tell why, because when she first took the thing off and looked downwards, it was very jagged underneath, all that has to come off, trimmed to the basic outline for a crisp, clean cut. I have this cut, but although I am a qualified hairdresser, I wouldn't even attempt to cut my own hair in a precision style.
The lies! Not perfect at all. After the crea cut they went in and cut the correct way, with scissors to clean this up. You can see how jagged and blunt the back was at first but it's different when being styled..
The model's hair was uneven when she put it in the clip, so it was uneven when she took it out. it was cleaned up before it was styled!
That's exactly what I thought!
Someone else noticed besides me.
Yup. They cheated.
Sharon La Tour yep for sure someone’s must have helped..it was uneven before the straightening
Great video! I followed this guide and it came out very well. Got a friend to clean up a few stray hairs in the back. I used hair scissors and made little 45 degree snips along the bottom of the clip for a more textured look rather than the blunt look the model had in this video. I know a lot of people in the comments are bashing this product but honestly I've had my hair seriously screwed up by hair dressers, I'd rather do it myself practically for free (besides the initial $30 clip + $5 scissors + $5 salon cape investment) than pay somebody to butcher it! Plus the crea clip saves me a lot of time, it used to take 30 to 45 minutes for me to cut my hair with just scissors and now it's about 5 minutes with the clip, and now my haircut always comes out perfectly even!
I'm in agreement! I use the very long curved one for my bangs and point cut my bangs afterwards for a more wispy fringe. :)
What scissors?
This is incredible I don't know what these people are talking about it will save lots of money if you do it yourself great job, need to get one of these
I tried this with snack bag clipper...ofcourse with a lot of extra hair to trim.later.
Omg I love how she looked so happy with it even though its was uneven as hell lol 🤣
Gotta do what she gotta do in these times til shops open up. I had to chop my long hair myself also, not even but itll do for now . Hairstylists should be essential too lol.
Looks good
Ohh yeahh happiness is a state of mind they said 😂😂😂😂
@hathor261 an a line bob is supposed to be longer at the front than the back, not one side longed than the other.
I use a Pampered Chef Twixit bread clip. Looks like the same thing without that silly level. I won't say it's a great cut, but is cheap...!
As a professional stylist, this made me cringe just a bit. How scary!? I'm sure you'd get quite a rush using this method.
omg, someones obviously trimmed the stray bits for her, because there is no way that clip did that, i would never use that on my hair, i had this hairstyle not long ago and it takes a lot more techniq than just wack a clip on and cut.
an a-line bob is where the FRONT is longer than the back, an asymmetrical cut is where one SIDE is longer than the other.
Why does everyone think the cut looks bad? I think it looks lovely.
I agree.
Because the uneven lines left underneath . That's not the proper way to do an A line bob
It's not an a-line bob
Im sorry but this invention is just ridiculous. It sort of reminds me of the "brickflop"... (a flip flop with a brick glued to the bottom.) All they have done, is taken a hair clip and put a leveler on it. I mean...come off it!
You could make this from stiff cardboard and use elasticated hair bands at each end to hold it it place .
Andrea Jimenez hahaha! absolutely ;)
Ferme
The finshing touch doesnt look hacked. It looks great! The economy is bad, people are trying to save money. $29 is nothing compared to an expensive haircut every 3 months or so. Its reuseable plus you can create other styles with it. I consider it a good investment.
exactly what i wanted i didnt know how to get that longer bang side and that its that easy ! thank you
Any thoughts on how to make more angled edges in the front? Hoping someone's figured out...
it really bothers me that they didn't finish the ends of the hair with scissors or something.
u can tell that they did touch it up, when she cut it its all jagged after, than after its straightened it looks all perfect, im sure they didnt film that part, but u can tell they cleaned it up for sure
SCAM..It was trimmed up at the end!
Omg that girl is probably thinking they better give me my damn check when they turn the camera off! Wow she cut off a lot and it needs to be thinned out on the bottom it's way too blunt and uneven and if you can't do it yourself because it's now too short then cutting it yourself was a waste
I can't even try to do this, my hair is very thick to fit in that tiny clip
tried this.. it leaves you with a ton of random long pieces and someone else needs to go in to clean it up, that's if it even turns out slightly decent.
I think if you made his with a very tight band it would look way better and you wouldn't have to pay.
Yes you will definetely have to cut it clean later to make it look softer but it will still need less time than this thing!
That cut really looks nice on her
Just ordered one. Hopefully this will help me get a better cut. Hairdressers are so overpriced and can't even do a decent job. Can't wait to try it when it arrives! + will save lots of $
+Dina Farmer Call me when you fuck up your hair
+sizzorgirl67 i was just about to say. Lol.
that's the look. it's called the asymmetrical a-line bob, i personally thinks it looks really classy and sexy :)
There is no place for professional hairdressers opinions, or sofa critics coming to explain why this is bad, we all know the risks by cutting it ourselves, we are here to be more careful obviously and because we want to save money!
This method doesn't work if you have thick hair. My hair is fine, but there are a lot of natural layers. When you cut through it with the clippers, it doesn't cut as well. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this method. I'm sure it worked for many people. But it butchered my hair. I now have to wait a month for it to grow back...so that I look some what decent. You should really update this, and maybe mention how this method would work for different hair types.
I've got the clips... It's impossible. You need two people

Have cut my hair for years. Have cut other peoples too. BUT cutting your own hair is PROBLEMATIC! And this tutorial is more like a commercial.
Pretty good for someone that cut her own hair, if you are watching this clip it's because you want to cut your own hair! Why do you comment to go to a professional when this video was meant for someone who wants to cut their own hair! Looks good for a self cut! I've seen worse!
I think it's a cute cut. Of course you're going to have professionals and trolls coming in here yelling about it being awful. Ignore them. It looks fine and is a great option for those that want to try to do it themselves. Obviously it's not going to give a super perfect cut... which is why you'll need to clean it up a bit, but it looked like it got the job done.
I've been using the larger curved creaclip on my hair for a few years now to create layers and am very happy with the product. Whenever I go shorter, I'll be trying this.
Well said.
no it looks uneven in the back and it looks bad, I would never cut my own hair period, cuz I am not a professional.
+Sarah Johnson You don't need a professional to cut hair anymore than you need a professional to make you breakfast. You are good enough and so is everyone else.
+Haven Clark professionals are called that for a very reason. way different than cooking. see those hairs under her neck? that loomg strand. those blunt cut lines?
@@sarahjohnson34 Been doing my own hair (not a bob yet) for years, nobody ever said it looked bad.
All the cuts I've had, made me cry, they always made me hate my hair.
Practise makes perfect. Professionals earn on ppl who just don't want to do it themselves, not because it's a rocket science.
I'm sorry, but that looks really bad.
@Sweet3323 no, an a line bob is supposed to be longer at the front than the the back, not the left/right longer than the other. "lol"
It's hard to cut your own hair compared to someone else's lol
that looks awful..
yeaa that creaclip would never hold even half my hair. ive never seen anyone with thicker hair then me.
Wow, so glad im not the only one who thinks this was bad and im not even a stylist. I was looking for an easier way to give myself a cut like this but oh well, scissors it is!
Cassandra Holiday Did you purchase and use it?
No, i cut it myself and dyed it fushia and raspberry red. Love my new hair!
Cassandra Holiday i wannit wannit
Wat am I saying?
No cape? I like the facts it's easy and unstructured.
I've been cutting my own hair for a while. The back needs evening out, there's an obvious layer there and it doesn't look good that's because the hair is stacked in the center when she cuts. I can see this product working well for bangs. Remember hair, when gathered at the ends should look like tip of a makeup brush.
Well I enjoyed the video. I didn't use the clip but I used the same method with my fingers and it turned out really great and I have never done this before. Great video
Jae McLean t
No problem I do hair but never been to hair school I've used this method with all my ladies and they love it as well thanks for this because I got way more clients now :))
This is not a steep enough wedge for me, personally. I want something that looks like it would slice somebody's hand. LOL
why use a straightener on straight hair..weird..
Sarah it makes it relax and fall into place
I would never use this !
Debra Greene
It really looks horrible, just like any other creaclip hair cut, sorry
Unless you have someone who can trim up those ends.. that is not even at all.
It's not supposed to be. The it's an angled bob plus it has textured ends.
I really don't see how this clip would work. when she was cutting with the clippers the level wasn't centred.... so should have really have had a horrible hair cut
your hair is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute and very beautiful.
Not even
Ew all that hair the fell on her back.. Hell no.
This is exactly how I trim my own back of my hair myself. I use a mirror in front so I can always see the back of my head and then I slide the clip down (my hair is about to the bottom of my neck) and I use a clipper to just cut it off. My arms JUST make it for this length. :) Any longer and you would need someone to cut it for you.
No až na to že to má vzadu dostříhané.I nekadeřnice jako já si toho všimne. Ale jinak pěkné.
In the videos I watched, this product never did produce good even cuts , they all needed cleaned up. This one is definitely not satisfactory.
it would be better if there is an attached razor to the clip which you can lift when you putting your hair in and close to cut when you feel its ready. Also leveling bit attached on the clip can be useless as your head needs to be perfectly leveled first to get your hair leveled in the clip.
I like it👍
When she took off the CreaClip it was so uneven and jagged! It looked awful! Then the close up, all the jagged bits are gone....clearly someone fixed it! It definitely made me NOT want to buy a CreaClip. LOL
Deceptive advertising. Clearly someone cleaned up the stray, uneven hair in the back before the final shot. I'm not a hair stylist and would love to be able to cut my own hair (which is why I watched this video) but the more of these self-cut videos I watch, the more I am convinced that, with rare exceptions, cutting ones own hair is risky business, and this "Creaclip" is just another fad gadget that will end up in the back of your junk drawer, or your trashcan. Sorry.
Anyone can cut a basic bob this way, with a little practice
There is so much more that goes in to perfecting a bob. The haircut in this video looks so-so. Not the greatest but obviously some people are ok with it. There is no personalization or texturizing of the cut. But for those who want to save $$ and have an ok haircut, I guess it works. These videos of do-it-yourself usually brings more clients into the salon needing cuts fixed.
after she washes her hair everything will fall into place, that's why is better to cut hair wet. If one cut the hair dry it would have the scissors marks like that.
what a terrible mess.....!
Better have one super strong buzzer, and then go back and go the other way. Cutting one way angles the hair and will be longer that way
I just did it and it works!!!!

omg awful, the back has so many stacked lines/graduated....this is a really awful one length bob
Saç kesimi çok pratik .Kullanılan aletin adı nedir.? Türkiye'de var mıdır?
I'm shocked at how well this turned out. While I won't be cutting my hair anytime soon as I'm trying to grow it out, I have to admit that it's a pretty cool tool.
I love my Creaclip! I get so many compliments on my hair!
That's beautiful and looks so professional
The siren sound in the background should be a clue.... Don't buy this scam
not good
"perfect A-line bob hairstyle"....sis this ain't it.
I ThinkThat model want to cry
That's not a real bob because you need to cut it shorter underneath in the back for it to turn under easily. Cutting it straight across will only make your hair flip outward.
She has great hair!!
Looks like someone trimmed it up properly at the back .. didn’t look too great just after she done it
That was not a clean cut. The sides were uneven. So much for the cray cray clip! 😂
I am thrilled! I was able to get a beautiful bob cut in 10 minutes with my husband's help. No more cutting for an hour myself to get the vertical layers. I just did this technique plus your bob layers video. Woo hoo! It looks great! So glad I purchased a Creaclip. Thank you!
if you watch shes actually tilting the clip as she does it. The bubbles supposed to be in the middle so you know its level but its as far to the left as it can go.
this is not right the second layer must be longer than first and the layers after second must be same as the second...
That's not an Aline, but ok
بالتوفيق
People are forgetting that for a leveler, you have to be on point. If your head is slightly tilted at an angle, you wouldn't get that "even" cut. I wouldn't buy anything that claims to do a miracle. If it's too good to be true, then it's probably isn't.
Yes! There are so many technical angles to this haircut.
If you're going to get this, you need to invest in getting a razor to shape your hair afterwards just to soften out the blunt lines that you end up with. I cut family hair with this and if you have a razor with a a feathering attachment you can do a pretty nice hair cut (simple styles). Of course it won't look overly professional but for those who can't afford to get haircuts or don't have time to wait for appointments, etc, these things are a good investment.
i also have bob cut ....but my hair is curved in down ...what can i do to make it like yours
NOOO! As a hairstylist this makes me cringe, was not even. Someone fixed it, clients would not be able to the finished product! Don't be cheap with your hair! It's worth the $$ to see a stylist that knows what they are doing! No offense, but I can't believe a hairdresser made this device!
What hairdresser knows what they are doing that doesnt cost over several hundred dollars. Actually... Even then... Do they? Because even they tend to just cut your hair however they want - instead of how we ask. So 🤷♂️
Seriously? NO!!! That was crooked and choppy! Then, a fade away to the "straightening" phase, and ALL cleaned up. NO!!
Yeah, you can do this at home yourself. That's exactly why I had a long and intense apprenticeship at a top Manhattan salon.
IronDiva-I was a hairdresser for more than six years. My boss wouldn't let anyone cut hair unless they had an apprenticeship with him first. It seemed to me that I spent the first two years repairing haircuts that were given by friends or in other salons.
Between the 'perfect' cut and the flat ironing...all the mistakes have fixed the normal way I am sure. It is not the same haircut.
Price has jacked up to $39.95 on Amazon, I guess that is to cover "free shipping."
look on sec.09.00 and u will se ..one side is longer than another side..is not because of crea clip..no...
even worse than the first creaclip video I watched! great way to create holes your stylist will have to TRY to fix. hope nobody goes this short because it won't be possible!
Using a razor yourself..blindly...yea right
LIARS! That's been cleaned-up before the final shots. Shame on you.
Was not expecting it to look so good
What a nightmare of a cut. I have been a stylist for 40 years and I cant believe anyone would ever fall for this gimmick.
Yeah it looked awful ! Someone cleaned it up!!!
If you bend the head forward the cut will naturally turn under .
I think it looks fabulous.
1) dont do this at home go to a salon.
2) if you ignore no.1 you will end up in a salon anyways for someone to fix it.. Dont listen to these people..there more to it than this..why do you think people have to learn it?
Every hair cut @ a salon, no matter how expensive, I've ever had, has been upsetting, disappointing, and ruined my hair - because the people never ever seem to want to actually listen to what I'm asking for. They just do what they want and I go home with either the opposite of what I asked for, or something completely mangled and crappy. And I've paid the person an exorbitant fee to do it. So while this might not be the answer - I would absolutely consider it next over going to any salon again. Might as well at this point
