Screw what that guy said. I have psoriatic arthritis and I haven’t been able to get to the hair salon in years because of it. I wear an inverted Bob. YOU have brought me back to life. I was pretty much bedridden and had resigned myself to just letting myself go as far as my hair was concerned that is. I never could get to the salon from having to go to spur of the moment Dr appointments blah blah blah.
One day, there you was with your manikin with pony tails cutting what??? An INVERTED BOB!!! Talk about divine intervention because even a husband can do it 🤣
So seriously do YOU! And NEVER let the snubby noses change YOU and what you do. The pony tails stay in place better for very fine, thin hair. The combs keep slipping and falling out.
As I listen to this video while typing it breaks my heart to hear you think “combs” because of “how it looks”. “Doesn’t look professional” well kiss my cheeks man!
I would at least mention if you find the combs slipping because you have very fine hair, you can substitute the combs with pony tails and just show where those would go as well. I don’t know but it just errrkks me to no end about the combs vs pony tails!!!! Pony tails are easier for my husband to keep my hair looking fabulous!!
God bless you precious darlin. Do YOU and never look back. You hear me??
(Me months later reading my post above. I wonder what in the world had gotten into me 👀. I normally don’t even post so this amazes me 🤣)

Really neat, in the future please use more light pointed at the haircut so we can see the details.

I very much appreciate every piece of knowledge I can get for dealing with my own hair. Ponytails are awesome, this is trickier to do on oneself. But I suppose i could replace combs with ikea bevara clips 😊, they could help bring more stability in the process

I really like the way this turned out. I am going to DYI my hair, but I like the look of this much better than the ponytail

This does help me so much. I have cut my hair myself for ages. I have a natural wave and it is HARD to cut the back well, this technique will help. I have a banana comb that may help? I guess straight combs are better...

I don’t want the graduated Bob. I just want all one length Bob with a steep invert toward the front. Should be much simpler right? How do I DIY that Paul?

I’m in love with your techniques! You are amazing. ❤. I do have a question. I have a 2 year old girl with flat head syndrome with flat side on her left side of her head. What will be a good way to cut her hair so her head looks even? I hope you can help me 😊

Fabulous. I wonder what would happen if you did to the front what you did to the back.
    What would the result be.
Face framing fringe layers? I would love to see it.
I guess the nose would get in the way a bit :)

What length of combs do you recommend for success? What are some decent scissors that won't break the bank (under $100). Layering the sides seems the most challenging so it's not hanging heavy. I am still looking for videos that address the sides. This was a great video. I learned a lot.

This is Phillip Wilson’s method of cutting hair, and you really owe him the credit, not the bozo you saw doing it on Tik Tok. Also, there’s a little more to it than that. You didn’t really do it right.

Cool, thanks for letting me know, but thats social media for you, someone sees it shows it, someone else sees it does it. If you see Phil let him know
