No, Altın Gün is not a corruption of Always Good. But that is what the Amsterdam band absolutely is, with its irresistible, floor-filling interweaving of Anatolian rock, Western psychedelia and Turkish folk. Since 2016, City and Country have been ahead of the Turkish-Dutch six, which did not sit still during the pandemic and rose again with no less than two new albums: 'Yol' and 'Âlem'. Excellent music. I’ve lived and worked in Turkey for some years and went back to my home country Holland. This group is quite famous all over. I followed their discography for a couple of years and saw how they developed professionally. I also witnessed how they changed drummer 3 times, percussionist once and lately also new guitarist. They all still show the same kind of inspiration and fun while playing. They still look quite the same, except for the singer who seems to have put on some weight…..😮
I hate that they skip the beginning of Yali Yali now, i really like it but i guess its kinda like a downtime for 40-50 seconds for most people.

What is the guy doin whit the "piano flute" ? Thats not fittin at all. Weird sound i Was 4 times at a altin gün concert and the first 3 times he was not playin that instrument and it sounds much bettet

For my as a Turkish man is it a honor how many non Turkish people listening to it.
Good music is good music! But there are also 4 guys of Dutch descent in the band!
It’s great music.
I’ve finally seen them live last summer. And although I don’t understand a single word, I like the sound of the language.
The band was established by the bass player Jasper Verhulst, who’s Dutch. 4 of the members are Dutch and the whole band lives in the Netherlands.
