This is not spoiler, it's just some information since they cut it in anime. So u see when black march soul talking to bam "you wish for the strength to climb the tower". In manhwa it's actually longer. +Black march said "Precious jewel and gold, magical fruit, heavenly beauty, and the taste of power and glory. What is that drive you to go up to the tower amongst all that" -Bam said "rachel" +Black march confused an she asked bam "Rachel ? What is that? A jewel? A power ? a position? Or a name of the most beautiful girl? -Bam answer "no, she is my friend. I used to spend my time with her. She is not as marvelous as a jewel, and she is not the most beautiful girl in the world. She is just a tomboy who makes a joke and sometimes lie to me. But... She is the most precious person to me *if i can just find her* I don't need to go up the tower" After that the black march looking at him like somehow confused, because she doesn't get it, why would someone risk his life for something like that. But because of that reason too she is interested on bam and choose to help him. Yep this is just a little thing, but for me this is important. @Devon Parker yep, Nobuhiko Okamoto is a talented guy. I think he definitely used the more smug voice similar to Karma's from assassination classroom, but yes, he is both Khun Aguero Agnes's voice actor and Bakugo Katsuki's. Also, have you noticed that Rak's VA is All Might and Headon's Jiraiya?
Is it really that good? I tried reading the webtoon but dropped it because it was i couldn't understand anything. And i disliked the fact that they timeskipped alot
@@yasiromar888 It's amazing. The time skip happen a lot but time flows completely different in that world. Years are nothing. Plenty of characters are thousands of years old. It's weird to get used to but it's amazing all around.
Yasir Omar time is almost meaningless in the tower, right now the only major time skips happened between seasons so when they say that years or months are passed you shouldn’t really be bothered by it

U also learn why Bam was in a cave for most of his life and much more. Honestly a great read so far. I’m currently on chapter 446 and there hasn’t been an arc I’ve disliked.
I love this series! In fact I remember a few years ago on WEBTOON, people were talking about how awesome it would be if this became an anime, however they thought it would never happen. Here we are now, watching this animated adaptation of the comic.
the princess was their because she new he was a non regular/irregular (dunno why they translated it weirdly here it is irregular in the webtoon) being an irregular is a big deal not gonna spoil anything. the sword she gave him is not a sword it is a needle again i dunno about the translation that needle is legendary weapon (something of a bid deal again not gonna spoil though). just trying to explain some stuff that the anime didn't clarify that much.
Khun‘s VA is Bakugos VA? Maaaan I instantly thought that his voice is so cool ( and ngl sexy 😂) did not watch bakugo but have heard from many pol that he is a lill handsome man although he is underage...
The name of the MC "Bam" means "Night" or "Chestnut"(or it just sounds similar) in korean, hence this is why it is translated into "yoru" in japanese which means "Night".
I am happy you guys liked it. I have been reading this manhwa for over 7 years. Even tho the anime is rushing the story and missing a lot of interesting details it is still a good story, so enjoy!
I started reading TOG in 2018 and from season 1 to season 3 ive been hooked waiting every Monday night for a new chapter falling in love with the characters around Bam, Hopefully you guys enjoy climbing the tower like everyone else and all the mysterious that come along with it. ENJOY !!!

CHANGED: black March is a needle not sword, CHANGED: That guy with Yuri is a Guide not a Navigator: REMOVED/NOT ADDED CONTENT: there are few irregulars and every time an irregular has shown up, they have caused great changes to the tower and they are really powerful to the point they have become the symbol of power/strength. So that’s why they were saying he’s weak for an irregular or how Yuri said she didn’t like boring things and etc since Bam is an irregular and now that he has showed up in the tower, she expects things to change.
@@brucealmighty5881 It sort of is. Except navigator is an actual word, that was in fact used even in some of the earlier unofficial translations of the webtoon, while "non-regular" is just a contrived circumnavigation around an English term that actually exists ("irregular").
Tuco Benedicto I don’t know about that but when I started reading the manhwa I didn’t see any “Navigator” word. Even when others started reacting to TWG and I started watching their reaction, I still didn’t see any Navigator words.

This show is pretty in depth with lots of things hidden in plain site. every character is well fleshed out and their motives revealed at one point or another, often times people are the way they are due to some experience. It simply takes more then a casual viewing to understand, you have to actually think about it, sometimes people hate characters so much they flat out refuse to even consider thinking about such things. (Massive spoilers for the anime, DO NOT READ THIS, only read if you have read the webtoon). ################################### ########################## ############################ ##################### Why is bam locked away and forgotten in a cave? Why was the girl so easily able to get to him/why was she allowed to be there? This isn't a plot hole, there is simply more to it that isn't revealed, maybe most people simply see it as a plot hole. Sometimes people(characters) are not given a choice. (More of a spoiler, don't remember when this was shown in the webtoon) The webtoon shows her being dragged around by her hair by a massive guy, I don't think that says "im here willingly". the story is from bams perspective most of the time.
I know I’m late to this video but the nice thing about Tower of God is that u start off the story knowing nothing about the tower or most of the characters. However, as the story goes on, u learn more about the history of the tower and the significance of some of the characters. There’s one particular part in the story that I can’t wait to see how people (only watching he anime) react

It’s great to see people liking the first episode because the WEBTOON was understandably hard to get through for some people and that WEBTOON isn’t really a mainstream reader like Shonen Jump or anything like that so to see people get into the anime that will bring more support to TOG on WEBTOON is awesome. I’m so happy for SIU I actually got into TOG on my first read. I finished the first season in like a week? About a week I think. It’s way too good and I have complete faith that this will be bigger than One Piece ever was one day.
the translators certainly didnt read the english version of tower of god. Its supposed to be Irregular not 'Non-regular' (should be fixed now on Crunchyroll) and its supposed to be needle and not sword (relevant later). Also just to clarify since most people are confused by this since its not stated that clearly in ep1: not everyone who wants to climb the tower has to do that test at the beginning. This test was only for Bam since hes an Irregular, and thats also why its so impossibly hard.
Side note: The narrator voice and the Headon voice are both voiced by the voice actor of Jiraiya from Naruto. I am sure you have heard his voice in other shows as well.
Regarding the info dump some shows/series have, this is NOT one of them. If you have questions: "The answer can always be found at the top of the tower." We are comparing this manhwa to One Piece, because both of these series are SLOWLY building the world through the eyes of the characters. Stuff happen and sometimes the main characters can't influence those things or don't even know what has happened until WAY later in the story. .. . ... Stay healthy and have fun.

some things that should have been explained more . so there are these kind of people who are called regulars they are average ppl and there is the irregular who have an incredible ammount of power (the irregular are not just rare there are is almost none ) both the regular and the irregular aim to climb up the tower , princess yuri when she found out there was an irregular she gone down the tower to see him with her navigator evan . as they came in they found that bam doesnt understand them which is headon's fault because he should of gave him a pocket (a low lvl one) , because he didnt gave him one yuri had to give him an A rank pocket .i think that is all that should have been explained more . i hope you enjoy the story it is awsome
I really like the appearance of Endorsi. Princesses of Jahad are likened to super nice shoes, but the owner is seen rather than touched. When Endorsi came out in front of the glass case, there was a metaphorical image of breaking the rules that Jahad had set. A princess wants more real life than a symbol or exhibit. I want to discuss more but spoiling is no good. ^^
Not sure what is worse, the fact that half of the comments are begging about other series rather than commenting this one, or the fact that they are begging about COMPLETE TRASH like Sword Art Online.
even if the voice actor does. Annie broke the webtoon. a dirty crop first There are some people who call it kagenashi technique, and the character has no light and shade. If you look closely, the lines are messy. And it's a huge plot of content. Of course, the production is very disappointing. I didn't know how to mess this up.
Never read a Manhwa before so with this one, I'm an Anime-only as well. That aside, I would like to recommend an Anime for you, A Certain Magical Index and its spin-offs A Certain Scientific Railgun annd A Certain Scientific Accelerator. It is based on a Light Novel (Railgun, Accelerator, and all other spin-offs have started out as Manga, though), and the base plot of the story is essentially Science VS. Magic. For the watch order, I would personally recommend Index-Railgun-Railgun OVA-Railgun S-Accelerator-Index II-Miracle of Endymion (Movie)-Index III-Railgun T. Before Railgun T started airing I would have switched around it and Index III, but they announced that they would be doing two Arcs from the Manga and the second Arc that it'll cover heavily implies something that is a spoiler for Index III Episode 6. I should also note that if Accelerator Season 2 starts airing before you finish Season 1, you can go right over to the second Season. And finally I would like to mention that the Anime for Index cuts out a lot of important information and character development (particularly pertaining to the Main Character on that second one), so I would highly recommend checking out the original Light Novels as well, but for the sake of the reactions make sure that you're behind on the LNs (like maybe read the first six LNs after finishing Season 1 of Index for example).
i was never a manga reader but im definitely a webtoon reader. Now I very much slightly understand why the manga readers are just twisting their bodies trying not to spoil the story all the time.

I’m not gonna recommend you read the comic right now but after this first season of anime is over I highly recommend you read the comic’s first season because there’s a lot of stuff left out. Not complaining I understand why they had to but ya know just when you’re done see what little details were left out
All I wish is that the anime properly explain the important information such as what are irregulars or why someone can climb the tower because this episode is so fast paced and like eaten 10 chapters of the manhwa and trust me, 10 chapters is A LOT of information. So I hope the anime do it's best to not confuse it's watcher because even though I read the manhwa, I still can't understand it sometimes :/
You are correct. Not really a spoiler but it was said(by the author) and just the middle area(just 1 of three section of each floor) of each floor is the size of the North American continent.
if you are unaware this is a webtoon and a lot of liberties were taken... if you enjoy the series and decide to check out the source material, i suggest starting from the beginning or you may miss lore and other shit

Black March is a NEEDLE! it has less resistance and surface area in the shinsu air than a sword.
Thats also why you see lots of spear bearers, and the only sword users are highly skilled as they go up

It’s great to see people liking the first episode because the WEBTOON was understandably hard to get through for some people and that WEBTOON isn’t really a mainstream reader like Shonen Jump or anything like that so to see people get into the anime that will bring more support to TOG on WEBTOON is awesome. I’m so happy for SIU I actually got into TOG on my first read. I finished the first season in like a week? About a week I think. It’s way too good and I have complete faith that this will be bigger than One Piece ever was one day.

the translators certainly didnt read the english version of tower of god. Its supposed to be Irregular not 'Non-regular' (should be fixed now on Crunchyroll) and its supposed to be needle and not sword (relevant later).
Also just to clarify since most people are confused by this since its not stated that clearly in ep1: not everyone who wants to climb the tower has to do that test at the beginning. This test was only for Bam since hes an Irregular, and thats also why its so impossibly hard.

The narrator voice and the Headon voice are both voiced by the voice actor of Jiraiya from Naruto.
I am sure you have heard his voice in other shows as well.

I was so close to reading this but found out it became a show so decided to hold that off
some things that should have been explained more . so there are these kind of people who are called regulars they are average ppl and there is the irregular who have an incredible ammount of power (the irregular are not just rare there are is almost none ) both the regular and the irregular aim to climb up the tower , princess yuri when she found out there was an irregular she gone down the tower to see him with her navigator evan . as they came in they found that bam doesnt understand them which is headon's fault because he should of gave him a pocket (a low lvl one) , because he didnt gave him one yuri had to give him an A rank pocket .i think that is all that should have been explained more . i hope you enjoy the story it is awsome
if you think the series went from 0-100 now, in comparison to what’s to come that’ll be more like 0-1 this series gets absolutely wild

I really like the appearance of Endorsi. Princesses of Jahad are likened to super nice shoes, but the owner is seen rather than touched. When Endorsi came out in front of the glass case, there was a metaphorical image of breaking the rules that Jahad had set. A princess wants more real life than a symbol or exhibit.

Never read a Manhwa before so with this one, I'm an Anime-only as well.
That aside, I would like to recommend an Anime for you, A Certain Magical Index and its spin-offs A Certain Scientific Railgun annd A Certain Scientific Accelerator. It is based on a Light Novel (Railgun, Accelerator, and all other spin-offs have started out as Manga, though), and the base plot of the story is essentially Science VS. Magic.
For the watch order, I would personally recommend Index-Railgun-Railgun OVA-Railgun S-Accelerator-Index II-Miracle of Endymion (Movie)-Index III-Railgun T.
Before Railgun T started airing I would have switched around it and Index III, but they announced that they would be doing two Arcs from the Manga and the second Arc that it'll cover heavily implies something that is a spoiler for Index III Episode 6. I should also note that if Accelerator Season 2 starts airing before you finish Season 1, you can go right over to the second Season.
And finally I would like to mention that the Anime for Index cuts out a lot of important information and character development (particularly pertaining to the Main Character on that second one), so I would highly recommend checking out the original Light Novels as well, but for the sake of the reactions make sure that you're behind on the LNs (like maybe read the first six LNs after finishing Season 1 of Index for example).

i was never a manga reader but im definitely a webtoon reader. Now I very much slightly understand why the manga readers are just twisting their bodies trying not to spoil the story all the time.

I’m not gonna recommend you read the comic right now but after this first season of anime is over I highly recommend you read the comic’s first season because there’s a lot of stuff left out. Not complaining I understand why they had to but ya know just when you’re done see what little details were left out

I think the voice actor of headon is the same of Jiraiya and the old ogre of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
All I wish is that the anime properly explain the important information such as what are irregulars or why someone can climb the tower because this episode is so fast paced and like eaten 10 chapters of the manhwa and trust me, 10 chapters is A LOT of information.
So I hope the anime do it's best to not confuse it's watcher because even though I read the manhwa, I still can't understand it sometimes :/

Not having seen the base material this is just speculation but I believe the tower is it's own dimension not earth.
You are correct. Not really a spoiler but it was said(by the author) and just the middle area(just 1 of three section of each floor) of each floor is the size of the North American continent.
if you are unaware this is a webtoon and a lot of liberties were taken... if you enjoy the series and decide to check out the source material, i suggest starting from the beginning or you may miss lore and other shit
