- How to Bypass a faulty oven timer clock and get a cake baked - Creda Oven
My small contribution to the community of those who never use the timer clock which usually becomes bad after some time. It costs close to $200 but only available for 50Hz on UK websites.
See the Infra Red video with the temperatures of the oven and cake at the end of the video.
This web site gives a written useful explanation for a bypass oven timer www.kiwinutz.com/bypass-tricit...

Thank you very much, oven now working. Even though we're in the midst of covid-19 lockdown and all services are closed.
Sneakers - You are welcome - my wife never relied on the timer anyway, since I bypassed it, the oven is working flawlessly - Stay healthy with hot food.
Very helpful!
Michael Ellis - thanks for your comment
Hi, Great video! Can this be done on a ticking 60 minute timer on a mini oven? Thanks!
hi have a timer broken and out of stok ......whirpool AGK 247/01 with timer eaton D-78559 GOSHEIM with no 2 relais
how bypass all ? u have a solution for this model? tk for all
Can you disconnect the timer entirely or would that effect the entire stove?
The timer IC is bypassed. Since it doesn't function anyway You can disconnect it.
Thanks. Just tried this on my gas oven as the manual button stopped working and the main oven is disabled. This bypasses that. Thanks.

- You are welcome. Thanks for your comment
What do you do if the same circuit and relay is also connected to the thermostat for the oven to set the temperature?
Sorry, but I am not an expert on different type of Oven's` circuitry.
I hope the designer of your oven separated the thermostat circuit from the timer software which could fail more often.
Good luck
My timer connections look the same but connecting the same wires as you I would be joining red to red and white to white. Is that correct? Each pair would be off each white block seen by the connections in the photo.
Each white block is a Rely that is not functioning since the timer Electronic stop functioning.
Connecting the rely input wire (high Voltage) to the rely output wire , bypass the rely and allow the current to get to the knobs.
In my video each white wire connects the input of a rely to its output. Red to Blue and Red to Yellow
Make sure not to connect the two high voltage wires to each other.
If you are not sure which is the high voltage don't do it.

Hi Moshe
The Wiring diagram is given here

Publication No: 599567828 page 8
I hope you can find it useful - Good luck
Thanks for the technique. We have a Belling db2 cooker and the timer has failed. The timer only has one pair of wires so..... nothing ventured etc. Shorted them and success. I can smell the pizza as I comment.
Glad it helped
Hi, was that on a ticking 60 minute timer? I have a mini oven and would like to disable the timer. Thanks :)
If you are going to do this, please use proper insulated crimp connectors, with heat shrinking as appropriate. If you don't know what this means then ask a professional to fix your oven.
P.S. If your shitty patch as shown in this video causes a fire and burns down your house, the insurance company will argue if the standard of work is not adequate.
