If you are new to programming try to get comfortable with it... The initial bit of the course is mainly in R... So, you can learn R... And at later stages for Deep learning module and even for the Machine learning module I would suggest going for python... Apart from that... Theres nothing that you should be worried about... Start your course with a fresh mind and be motivated to learn new things... All the best mate... :)

You have significant relevant experience so, I think you will be able to get into some of the top Russell Group universities. So, if you don't have budget issues you can check out Uni of Edinburgh, Imperial College London, LSE etc.

If you still have questions feel free to let me know I will be more than happy to help. I would suggest applying on your own and this is based on my personal exp. For the visa process you could opt for some consultancy.
As for clearing a loan you can do it in 3-4 years depending on how much you are taking and how soon you are able to find a job afterwards... So, in my opinion it is totally worth it.

Tier 2 tends to be valid for 5 years but it also depends on the company... Some offer for 2 years and so on...
