The reason Alex is able to produce those immaculate notes is because he has great air intake and control. He's the bass singer for the future in Southern Gospel Music. Thanks for sharing. Really enjoyed it 😊
His twin brother is a good bass as well. Andrew Utech sings with Eternal Vision and was included in this video compilation. . .They are identical twins !!
Wyatt Austin is spectacular too. Alex is a bit lower from what I can tell, but Wyatt has a fantastic voice too. The Kingsmen also trotted out a pretty fantastic 17 or 18 year old bass at NQC this year. Imagine what these guys will be like when their voices mature!
I used the chest-fry technique alot and i know how it works the way he always takes a huge breath to clear his throat and crisp his fry to make it sound clearer, the way he never continuously fry cause when you fry for longer periods the sound fades, the way he always cough before a low note,i can tell buddy when he mixes
Honestly, from 18 to 46, my chest voice didn't change a lot; E1 and D1 on a good day has been my limit since my voice changed ... I just have more resonance in my 40's.
@@Vanerov, Trace Adkins is an odd one: he actually speaks deeper than any note he has ever sang. Barry White was the same way; his speaking voice was deeper than his singing voice. Normally, it's the other way around. Look at Thurl Ravenscroft and Avi Kaplan for 2 examples on the other side of the coin: they have speaking voices that BARELY qualify as bass, yet, are basso profondos.
@@johndeeregreen4592 Mikhail Zlatopolsky might have been another example of a voice change after their twenties, considering there was a clip of him struggling with a B1 over a choir when he was much younger.
@@Vanerov, my voice is very similar in texture and depth to Zlatopolsky (that little bit of fry around the edges), but it's been this deep since I was about 14
Thanks for watching! Any feedback is appreciated as always and also I accidentally used the same clip in both G# and G so,sorry about that
Great video! He‘s really good. His notes sound very consistent. It‘s always impressive when a bass is able to show off his lowest notes live.
Thanks bro !
Wow! Which quartet is he from?
I loved all the voices.
He's incredible. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Down east boys quartet

Alex is one of my best friends. One of the best out there today.
He is indeed one of the very best !
Didn't know this guy until this video, but now I'll definitely be listening to his quartet!
Thank you for watching!
6:30 Wow! The versions I've heard of that had Bb1s, and that's very hard to hit (I imagine it's the phrasing), but he did that with A1! Just wow!
A great man and he can sure sang bass.
this man has so much power, he almost sounds like Conley London parris
He is really good.. but London never gone so close to his microphone.. so I guess his bass was louder and more powerful 😊
His twin brother is a good bass as well. Andrew Utech sings with Eternal Vision and was included in this video compilation. . .They are identical twins !!
This young man is good bass singer jd Sumner be proud of him
That's a great video!
Thanks
Good bass singer!
The best bass under 30ies age in current SGM

Nice video!
Why does he look both 17 and 27 at the same time but sound 47?
Lol
10:41 is a thick G1 chest note
Most of his lows are Chest-fries,even at C2 mixed
Thank for making this video, man his lows sound so clean even tho it’s not chest. Still awesome

This is going to be the next JD summer!
Not sure abo6t that
To be correct all of those are chest notes until F#1 then it goes to fried chest notes
Actually,he starts frying from C2 for power, though his B1 from the first clip was chest
I, like, REALLY need this song at 12:34, she's so beautiful, and Alex is an amazing bass singer

@@freddiestudio7668 thank you very much 🙏🏻
Is the Eb1 chest?
Growl
what's his lowest typical and lowest overall chest note do u think? it sounds like he growls notes as high as Bb1 sometimes which seems odd to me
Yep thats true,if you listen closely he can growl all the way up to the 2 octave so yeah, and I personally think his lowest is around the B1/Bb
What's the lowest chest note he can sing, on a good day?
I’d say around A1/G#1
Música?
11:15
11:50 what song is this?
Ready to leave-Down East Boys
Vocal fry!
my dream is to one day get D1 in the chest, But with 18 My limit is F#1

It's up to genetics. The only 3 that I'm aware of that had big voice changes after their 20's, were Trace Adkins, Christopher Judge and JD Sumner.
