Cosmic Carnage (also known as Cyber Brawl in Japan) is a 1994 fighting video game developed by Almanic Corporation, in conjunction with ALU, and published by Sega exclusively for the 32X add-on.
Set in an uncharted star system, the game follows eight fighters from two factions in a struggle for survival. Its gameplay consists of one-on-one fights, with a main six-button configuration, featuring special moves and finisher techniques, as well as two playable modes. The title garnered mostly negative reception from critics since its release.

WOW !!!
It was definitely very good!
Graphics are pretty good, but it seems that controls are somewhat inaccurate, idk why
Every part of the character bodies was a separate set of sprites, that might be the reason…
Fun fact this version was localized version of Cyber brawl where they change all character's name except Naruto and change human chracters except Tyr to non-human
Lol never knew this. I bought this as a kid trying to collect as many 32x games I could after is was discontinued. Just now looking it up and learned something new
ofc the ninja dude is named "Naruto"...
Well, technically, it is the name of the Anime.
They first named the character "Naruto" in 1994 before the production of the Naruto Anime in 2002.
Fighting Movements and sfx and music has the vibe from power rangers the movie "Sega version"
The ex-Technos devs were really ahead of their time when it comes to their game library.
It didn't help that this was a 32X exclusive game, but it is the best fighter for a horrible add-on.
One of the key features here is the armor system used for the heroes. The heroes (Cylic/Jake, Zena-Lan/Ray, Naruto and Tyr/Karl) can use either light armor or heavy armor before the fight begins. This changes certain properties for each character and either add a special move, change a special move or lose a special move.
The character used here, Naruto, is the most broken character in the game because of his Dash special move. It sounds basic as heck, but he can dash in *any direction* except up or down.
Each character has a gimmick that was good for a different reason, but could be circumvented by another player.
Naja had chaim throws and the lunge attack, Tyr had the cannonball and something else. I used these two the must.
Cylic was great if you used heavy armor for defensive attacks. Naruto was fast but overshadowed by relatively low attack power except for the sword attack. He barely hurt you if you're not light armor.
You also forgot the moveset part that armor can break off, leaving you with the light armor version of attacks!
This game is the very definition of the term "button masher"
Давай ещё что-нибудь на Sega 32x проходи 👍
One big recommendation I'd make to the one behind this would be to ditch whatever sound emulator option changes the sound of the MD's PSG chip to soft sine waves, rather than the normal "8-bit" square wave sound.
Not to sound rude, but it really butchers most of the music, and makes it sound a lot less full.
Damn, he left dude without arms, bleeding out and panting heavily for his life!
A typical Tuesday for Chuck Norris…
this dude has chipps double beta blade move
Os gráficos são bonitos, mas a movimentação parece bem travada.
Thnks
The REAL Naruto
I like the graphics and character designs for the Japanese version but I hate the story that goes with it, I much prefer the NA/PAL story.
Unos the story the same about fighting for the last escape pod?.
@@erugurara8235 yes only the story with the PAL version is that the monster-like characters are prisoners who have taken over their prison ship and crashed it into a military ship sent to rescue the prison ship crew.
In the JP version, both are experimental ships that accidentally translocated into one another and became irreversibly damaged.
@@gryndkor i mean in both cases is about people cretty crazy aboint zantiing to be alive or at least is the eeling i get considering and both refused to give any ending ot the character more than if the player manages to beat the game in time or not.
I supose the pal story gives it some personal conection and irony to the story to have whit the character who will evetuallly kill thry patners regardless of ideology.
Fun fact: this game was considered so bad that even Sega didn’t want to ship out.
why? it looks cool
The 32x in itself should never have existed, it's not really for the game.
@@Vectormantudeoz what do you mean?

Everything about this game is weird.
It was really really good. Good balance and moveset choices
well, most of the time, it was an pretty good fighting game that came for the 32X (The worst addon to the Genesis)
