How to cook a lion’s mane mushroom ‘steak’

Good morning my wild and beautiful friends.
Lion’s mane mushrooms are becoming more and more popular- you can even find them at some grocery stores.
Curious how to cook them? I got you!
All you need-
Some lion’s mane mushrooms
A pan
Something to weigh your pan down with (I used another pan and some ramekins)
Oil to cook in
Something to baste your mushroom with
I made a quick compound butter using
1 stick vegan butter (I love country crocks plant based butter)
3 cloves of chopped garlic
Salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
