After checking in to Planet Hollywood, I always go to the ABC store and stockpile on the $1 bottled water, and always carry one while walking the strip.
Great video Jordan. Planet Hollywood is one of my favorite Vegas hotels mainly because it is attached to the Miracle Mile Shops. Based on the video, the rooms seem to be in great condition & I like how there is a mini fridge that allows people to put in their own drinks, unlike MGM properties which have the ultra expensive mini bar instead. Lastly the location is excellent as it is easy to get to the LINQ, Caesars Palace, Paris, the Bellagio & the City Center properties from there.
Stayed there in 2018 for my bday. It actually one of my best Vegas stays and I've been to Vegas 13 times. Loved the location, food was decent and the middle of the strip. And I got it comped so that definitely helped out.
I stayed there in late 2001 when it was still the new Aladdin. Nice room with a view of the Strip and a bit of Bellagio’s fountains. Nice casino, decent restaurants and the Magic Mile shops attached. I only stayed there the one time but I visited every time I was in Vegas. It’s also in a very good location. A bit south of the center Strip and easy access to MGM Grand and other south Strip casinos. As I was a walker, the location made it very convenient; close enough to the action of center Strip but far enough south that there weren’t quite the crowds on the sidewalks.
That actually is a great idea. They need something up there for sure. There's a reason people have never heard of those restaurants, they're practically hiding them...
Currently there is nothing for nonsmoking so its better than nothing plus would be less pushback than if the main casino floor was flipped to nonsmoking and made the smokers go upstairs @@40mosher
I saw Jordan walking through the Miracle Mile when he was recording this video. He was nice enough to stop and say hello while I was eating breakfast at Earl of Sandwich. Love the videos.
Definitely in the center strip, conveniently located inside the mall !Strip house is one of the best underrated steakhouses in Vegas must try!! This place is awesome -
I liked when it was the Aladdin. The Miracle Mile shops are great and like you said, ABC store is great for grabbing a few things for your room. I think this property is so underrated.
I go to Vegas quite often and ALWAYS stay at PH!!! The always clean, spacious rooms and convenience to EVERYTHING just can't be beat staying anywhere else!!!
Have seen Criss Angel a few times and going again on Sunday. I really like his magic and overall story. The ladder walk is phenomenal. Strip House is also very good. I recommend you try it!
PH is one of my favorite casinos in town (although I greatly miss the poker room since they closed it!). I remember when they did the complete renovation of the casino floor around 2008 or so; hard to believe it's been so long ago! lol. The whole casino wraps around the Heart Bar (as you showed, now under renovation) and all of the table games surround the bar is a big circle. I love how all the massive columns throughout the casino change lighting all day long. The mezzanine is really weird, but it's a good place to take a break and do some people-watching from above. They often use that empty area up there for special events, poker tournaments, and (I think at least a few times) special slots challenges/events.
Every point you made in this video is spot on! I’m impressed with the condition of your Ultra Hip Room,: I stayed at PH about 8 years ago, not long after those rooms were introduced, and your room is still very nice! I had a Strip view room with a better view of the Bellagio fountains than from many rooms I’ve had at Bellagio. Those soaking tubs are awesome! Worth the price to get bath bombs at Lush, or cheaper ones at the Walgreens next door to PH, and just relax after a long day or night. The PH casino is subpar, and almost every Caesars casino is dirty and smelly. Luckily Paris casino next door is nicer, Cosmopolitan is easily reached via a pedestrian bridge and Bellagio is now an easy walk with the new connection with Cosmopolitan. One negative for me about PH is the atmosphere on the main sidewalk in front of the casino, especially at night. That area is too crowded and rowdy for me, and I don’t care for the endless drumming by the “performers.” Overall, PH is one of the best value properties on the Strip, but I overall prefer Park MGM and NY-NY.
Enjoyed the presentation as usual. I have never stayed at Planet Hollywood but will give it a try based on your recommendation. Thanks again for keeping us informed with a quality product!
What about parking there? One reason I won’t stay at PH is their guest parking. You have to park at the mall and drag your suitcase the entire length of the mall to get to the casino, to check-in or get to your room. Sometimes the mall parking is very full and this walk can take 15 to 20 minutes just to get from your room to your car. I like the casino and it’s a great location but they need designated parking for hotel guests that doesn’t include a very long walk through the mall. I can’t tell you how pissed off you will get if you forget something in your car and have to walk back to it. Sometimes I think it may be closer to park at Paris and just cross the street to PH to avoid the long walk to the back of the mall where the parking garage is.
Thanks for this Jordan, I am staying at PH in June this year, the appeal was the reasonable pricing and it's mid strip location. I've read quite a few negative reviews on Tripadvisor but that mostly relates to automated check-in and lack of room cleaning, which give it a low quality feel.
Great video! Very informative, especially about the smoke in the casino, since I try to avoid that. If you stay there, is it possible to avoid the casino as you navigate around the hotel?
We enjoy n really like Planet Hollywood.last visit n previous stay.idk if coincidence or liked us for reason..we got the same room as in Dec.'22 again on 51st floor the Judge Dredd theme room.lol.didnt mind got good nice view of the strip n fountains again.👍
I seen your video on the Luxor buffet , I did visit the casino twice. But did have the buffet at the Excalibur. Friends and I stayed, horribly I got sick after eating at the buffet. For 3 days I was in bad shape. And never ever went back again. Been going to Vegas since the 1980s. Had some bad and good. But anyways thanks for the videos 👍🏼👍🏼
Great video! We are MGM people but we’ve started to visit Caesar casinos more just for something different. PH is our favorite Caesar’s based on all the pros you mentioned!
I'm really curious what they are doing with the Heart Bar. That construction wrap comes all the way up to the upper level ceiling so I wonder if it will be multi-level?? That would be awesome! I like PH and have always felt it's the best bang for your buck on the strip and that location. They need to make changes if they plan to increase pricing, so all the piecemeal work going into it makes sense. Great video guys!
First off, I really enjoy your videos, and I used a lot of them as reference when picking a place to stay when I was there last month, and I went with Planet Hollywood! A couple of thoughts: 1. I did the "$20 trick" when checking in and was given a massive suite on the top (51st) floor and it was stunning. Totally worth it (I stayed from a Mon-Thurs). From what I could tell that room goes for $698/night normally. The interesting thing about the room is that every picture (and I counted, there were nine of them) was of Sylvester Stallone. 😄 2. I agree with the layout being confusing. I kept having to find the north elevators and while I thought I had visual markers it seemed like every time I went back to the hotel I was doing a circle around the casino to find the elevators. 3. One more con I would add is that I found the walls between the rooms to be thin. I was laying in bed one morning and I could hear the guy in the room next to me having a (very personal) phone conversation to the point I felt very awkward overhearing it. And it's not like he was yelling. All that being said I found the location amazing and you're absolutely correct about the Miracle Mile shops being so handy connected to the hotel. I would stay here again.
We have stayed at PH a lot. We love this hotel and the miricle mile shops. The casino is a bit confusing but I'm the person that gets lost anywhere. Great video
I seen Chris Angel when he was at the luxor. This was when he had his t v show and he was like the biggest thing in magic. I really enjoyed the show and my wife, who was not a big fan was pleasantly surprised.
It's fair. Not one of the better on the strip, but not the worst either. It's not a destination pool but it will get the job done. Thanks for watching!
I’ve stayed at: - Mirage - Flamingo - MGM - PH And also done a lot of gaming at: - Cosmo - Aria - Harrahs - Wynn - Paris PH is my favorite. You can’t beat the location and price.

I still won’t stay there and I rarely even pass through . Totally agree on the misused empty mezzanine space . Very fair review 😎😎😎
I've loved _ABC Stores_ since Oahu (The Land of ABC Stores) I haven't stayed at _PH_ but I love the casino and the Miracle Mile Shops/Eateries! Sounds a bit like another magician performing in Vegas... Thanks for watching!
