Hello from Mounds Illinois. I guess that you have knitted 48 pairs of socks. I have only knitted 20 pairs of socks so far.
I am going to try sock knitting in the new year. I am a little intimidated but am looking forward to it. I will probably start after getting new needles since most patterns call for size 0 or 1 and the smallest I have is 2, I am not experienced enough to try to adjust the gauge. I also prefer the idea of toe-up but most free patterns seem to be cuff-down so I might have to start with that.

Ok, now I need to knit my dad the grampa sweater socks (he's for the long grey beard and everything!) My brother next brother down the wall street socks (he's in VA with a public relations job. Close enough!) And my youngest brother the classic with a twist (boom, complete set!)
