Hi there Faith Family Homestead family! Lovely family! Great and very informative video! I am in the market for a prefab coop to locate onto another part of my property. In the past I have built two coops, but I'm unable to move the one the girls currently are in. This is their third year, and They need to be moved away from the house where they can have some lawn, earthworms and the whole nine yards. (I have limit leg strength so the coop was placed where I could walk or use a wheelchair). So, I have been searching for videos of individuals actually putting together a prefab chicken coop. Your video is my fourth video thus far and watching your family put together your prefab coop has aided me greatly! Thank you and family for your informative video. I have also subscribed. God bless!

Me and my boyfriend have started to build one. All the prices of coops were just expensive and he’s pretty handy and it’s looks so good already! This will be our first time ever having chickens! ❤I thought to myself having raise beds I might as well add chickens lol.

What is it like to move around on grass?
It works well on short grass. Not great on super high grass or rocky ground
Dom, have you had any issues with snakes with the chickens/ducks eggs?
I have not seen any snakes since we moved in... We had seen snakes before we moved in though
Hey, I was wondering, is it OK to not have a chicken brooder for about five hours? Basically my chicken brooder will not be in until tomorrow evening but I have to get my checks early in the morning before they’re sold out. So I was thinking about it having a heater going on the living room until it comes in.
Not a heater that blows air, but one of those that just has the two red poles in them.
I've read many articles of people off grid keeping their chick's warm with hot water bottles, lining the container with aluminum foil, and other ideas. They need to stay warm so as long as you can keep them warm you are good to go
