Glad to see that you decided to get those beds. I recommended them last year. The wood just breaks down too quickly. Also leave the landscape frabric. I have wood chips and now it's dirt and weeds. Weeds will grow out of those rocks when soil gets in it.
So nice. I appreciate you taking us on the journey of your garden as it evolves. I have definitely changed my layout a few times. Keep inspiring us to start where we are and evolve as we go. What a blessing. Love it. ❤
🌺looking great Dom! I would keep the fabric down so all you have to do is sweep up and toss back in beds. So happy your young man is home for awhile. Keep up the great vision you have, and have the best most wonderfully Blessed Christmas! Look forward to the New Year!
Hi Dom. Personally, I would not put down rocks. They look nice, but create safety hazards. It will be hard on the body walking, standing, etc. But but worse, eventually they will end up in the soil which will be a very big problem for that square footage. The ones in the hoop house will do the same, but it's a smaller area. My soil is hard to plant in because when I first tilled my garden, it was/is full of small & large rocks. I had to go to raised beds. They are impossible to remove. My opinion. Blessings. Good to see your baby home safe.
I have heard that if you cut the logs a little bit smaller not a little small but just a little bit smaller they will break down or organic matter better so maybe you should look into that if you have a saw, you could cut them down or a chainsaw
Wow!!! So glad to Aiden home for a visit. Talk about muscle!!!!!!
