@@unleasheddrivers1281 In the 2020 Ferrari on turn 3, the fast right hander, I think I was just taking a bit too much speed through turn 2 and compromising my turn-in for turn 3... Gotta work on slowing down enough, I think. Too eager to go FAST :P
Yes just a little less speed through the second turn should help you out for turn 3, some cars struggle to take it flat but I'm fairly sure most can

Just done it for the first time in the V12 Vantage. I LOVE this track. Though had a violent spin in the wet in that fast section through the right kink that cost me the lead.

Monza and Misano guides helped me to learn tracks faster and understand where I potentially was losing time. I am stil 2.5 seconds slow at both but I think that my speed around the corners is fast enough to compete online with other mid-tier drivers.

Personally I really like Misano. It’s the second track I’m learning after Brands Hatch and it feels good to have so many turns in one track
I find it hard as hell, I rather run the Green Hell actually, but I have to prepare the LFM license

Gotta learn this track for a league race in two days and I just remembered why I never played the career mode past Misano... No other track has been such a struggle for me to get even close to okay lap times. But at least I got into 1:38s after watching this.

Wow, and here I thought my 1:38.5 lap was quick. Great video
With the latest ACC updates (the new tyre physics) times are slower and more true to reality (Misano lap times in qualify are maximum around 1:36 with optimal track conditions). I used to do 1:34 on Misano easily before in a McLaren, now it is difficult to go lower than 1:35 (only in hotlap with very little fuel)

1:37.206 is about all I got around this track in the Aston Martin V12 Vantage.

Another great vid matey , Could you add to the commentry the gears used for each corner /section with maybe a small explanation? , as some drivers may use EG: 3rd gear for a corner and others may use 2nd gear for the same corner. It's not important but just a thought. Cheers.

On that note, it would be good to have all the HUD with all the telemetry data: throttle, break, gear, etc

Are you doing all your hotlaps with aggressive setup ?
I don't like to use lap guides, I prefer learning the track with the virtual racing line but this video was more than needed, thank you!
Thanks! And that is perfectly fine if you prefer learning that way. There is nothing wrong with that and I highly suggest using the virtual line when driving new tracks.
I can do consistent 1:37’s on Xbox version with the Lexus but I can’t see how I could shave more than 1 second off that time. To me it feels like I’m not doing too much different to what I see here. I’m confused
Same here (1.37) but i just started working on this track and it is with 2018 Porsche on ps4
What setup was used or was it custom
I'm on my second career now with the Mercedes but the first time with the Aston V12 was horrible at this track. It wanted to swing wide and straight killed my consistency and car control. Thos guide has helped though so much appreciated.
Joseph Elza- what were you lapping in the Aston Martin V12? The best I’ve done so far is a 1:37.206. In practice session. I don’t know if track conditions improve in hot lap mode.
@@SimRacingVeteran I was getting 1:39 consistently but best was a 1:38 or something close to that.
Joseph Elza- I was able to eek out a 1:36.something a little while back. Misano is a fun track. I know that others find it boring but I like it.

My favorite track so far (with Zolder). Do you prefer the BMW on that track? Before the last right corner, I set the breaking point directly before the white line on the ground. That fits also very well.
I drove a couple more laps after uploading this and I enjoy the track a little more now that I know how to drive it. It's a smallish track but its challenging. Yes I do prefer the BMW at the moment but I have only driven the lambo, Bentley, BMW and jaguar here at Misano. The BMW is nice and stable coming into that fast braking point. Also thanks for the tip

Would regard myself as faster than most but not the fastest in most sims, cars m, tracks etc. but I just cannot get under a 37 around here. Tried these pointers and while they helped a little I cannot go any faster. Am at my wits end

Thanks for this, today was my first day playing this game and I already got a 1.34.8 in less than 3 hours playing the game, still a lot do improve on though, cars are very oversteery for me compared to other sims so I don’t feel confident at all.

Ez Jitsu The Porsche but now I pretty much main the Lambo or Ferrari. I much prefer the Porsche on Misano but an absolute nightmare to drive in other tracks.

For me the place that works best is the back straight with the 2 fast corners, you need to focus on getting a good exit out of turn 10 and then win the inside line before the braking
