    Nice Job! It seems you're a bit smittin with the Duck. I had an ST4 with the 916 Desmo back in the day and it had plenty of grunt. I can only imagine how nice this is to ride. Currently trying to decide between the Ducati and an R1250GS.

    Had one for 9 months after three GSs, it’s a seriously underrated bike that’s a lot more fun to ride being 25kg lighter than the standard GS. it’s really a comfortable sport tourer not an adventure bike. I changed the screen to a Puig Touring and it’s perfect, off to Belgium June to have a great long trip. Like the grey but it’s far better in red🤣

      Ye brilliant bike I loved it. And I don't know that grey is very nice makes the red wheels pop plus you see them in red a lot more think that's why I like it more

    I’ve got one too, in grey, and love it. Does everything I want, with all day comfort & all the toys.
    Great review, shame the weather stopped you really enjoying it 👍

    Love your enthusiasm for this bike. Would like your thoughts. Currently have a 2016 Bonnie T120 here in Pennsylvania. I like the Bonnie's low end torque for riding up/down and around the ridge lines that cover our state but am looking to replace with a sports tourer for the longer hauls. Would this bike also deliver the low end grunt needed on such hills and ridge climbs (paved/macadam roads of course)? Thanks for any insights.

      Hi thanks for the comment, yes the would be perfect for this and you'd have fun all the way there and back 😀

    The only thing that is we can call a Minus on this bike , is the High Cost service.....

    • @ConstantThrottle1
      @ConstantThrottle1  Рік тому

      Service can't be any more expensive than my '21 Triumph Tiger 900...my 12K next month will run $1,500 here in the US.

      Ooooo I don't know. Did you watch the Tiger 900 review?

      @@ConstantThrottle1 Just watched it. Have always liked Tri/Tig's, just thought the Ducati may have krept a bit ahead, mostly on power I guess, & the v4. So you'er putting the TRI at the top & the 850gs the lesser of the three?

    • @ConstantThrottle1
      @ConstantThrottle1  Рік тому +1

      @Bruce Read im still struggling as the 850gsa was good and had the best wind protection the ducati was brilliant but it was raining so maybe I couldn't play as much and the tiger I just loved everything about it apart from wind protection haha im stuck 😢 🤔 suppose there's worse problems to have 🤣

  • @terenceokeeffesmotorcyclestuff

    Great review, you looked like you were having fun 🤩

    Very informative, down-to-earth review with no unnecessary faff. With so much road testing hype over the expensive and admittedly fantastic V4S, it's great to see that for most of us everyday bikers, we could get into the Ducati brand, own a fabulous looking and performing bike, without breaking the bank. Mind you, it was painful to see that beautiful machine being ridden in such crappy weather....soapy water and a sponge ready at the end of that ride methinks!

    • @ConstantThrottle1
      @ConstantThrottle1  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for the comment, yes it is a very good bike and you really don't need the bigger v4s when this bike is so good 😀

  • @ΑκρατοςΚωνσταντινος

    Does it lean to the right when you leave the handle bars? Its an issue that ducati knows about but no reviewer mention it!

    • @ConstantThrottle1
      @ConstantThrottle1  Рік тому +1

      Didn't notice it leaning to the right but then again I didn't ride without holding the handle bars 🤷‍♂️

    I love my 1200 enduro. It has five characters in one bike. Tourer, Light enduro, Sports bike, Commuter, Supermoto depending on road and mood. Audi’s involvement has brought a really good ergonomics package to the brand.
    Plus it’s road presence gives a real comfort from a visibility stance.

    • @ConstantThrottle1

      Can imagine the 1200 being an animal 😍

      @@ConstantThrottle1 you’re welcome to have a ride. They are pretty rapid for the size of the bike and it makes overtakes a one second squirt 😍

      @SuperDickiedavies might have to take you up on that offer haha depends where you are though 😄
