I was just at the thrift store (Goodwill) yesterday and they had a lot of maternity pants. If you’re not wanting to spend a lot of money, checking out your local thrift store is a to go to add to your closet! (And buying preowned is environmentally friendly!)
I have watched your videos for YEARS but have never related to pregnancy or mom videos because I was younger. Just found out I am pregnant with our first baby and I am so thankful for these videos. I know I can trust your opinions because I always have, you are such a treasure!
Am I pregnant? Absolutely not. Thinking of becoming pregnant? Absolutely not. Am I still watching this video, taking notes and looking up prices for the ideas Jess shares? Absolutely ❤️
i’m a mail carrier for the USPS which can get super repetitive and boring but i’ll just let your videos play while i’m delivering and it honestly makes my day so much better! your voice is so nice to listen to
I just found out that I’m surprise pregnant with #2 and we have a 10 month old. 🤷🏻♀️🙀 I just survived and pregnancy and postpartum and STILL found this helpful. Haha! Thanks Jess! ❤️
I love this!! I’m pregnant with my first and just entered my second trimester so I’m trying to figure out what I will need. I always love your recommendations. Also love these sit down on the floor chat videos, I feel like we are just friends hanging out and chatting. 😂
I'm not pregnant, never have been, and at my age, I never will be. So why did I watch this whole video? Cuz it's my girl Jessie. I just really like the sound of your voice regardless of what you're talking about and I've missed you since Christmas vlogs are over.
I wanted to recommend thredUP for maternity clothes. I found a lot of amazing pieces there that worked so well for me. On a slightly different topic, I just wanted to throw out my experience in case it could help anyone else. At 27 weeks, my baby had established a pretty decent movement routine. It wasn’t a ton but I knew it. One day it felt off to me- less movement. I waited until the next day (face palm) and called my doctor and they sent me to triage and about five hours later my son was born via emergency c-section. He is going to be three this year and is doing so well and I’m forever grateful for him. My point of sharing this is not to freak people out but to encourage any other pregnant folks out there to listen to their bodies and don’t hesitate to call your doctor- your intuition is real and valid. I believe Jessica had said that in a previous video so I wanted to say it again. I had no hospital bag, nothing but my purse and the clothes on my back. It’s so weird- I have no idea what labor feels like, which I was bummed about but every experience is different and all we can do is try our best.
So happy everything turned out well with him!! So glad you called! For anyone worried because their baby isn't moving, one of my nurses gave me a tip after I called because I was worried about not feeling movement. Try drinking a soda. My hubby and I drove straight to Sonic for that soda, and she started moving right away when I drank it. Not sure if it's the bubbles or what, but I guess it can wake them up if they're asleep. Trust your gut though! It does not hurt to call or message your doctor's office any time you're worried. They expect you to!
@@dizzlecookie Thank you so much! It was a 76-day NICU stay (another thing you are never expecting to experience and that no one ever really talks about- at least that is what I found). And that’s a great tip. My mom told me orange juice or something sweet. It didn’t work in my case which was another thing that pushed me in the direction of calling my doctor.
Personally, I LOVED my bella bands. During the early portion of pregnancy they helped me feel less squishy and afforded that extra few weeks in normal jeans. Late in pregnancy when my belly felt overly heavy, I wore it over pregnancy jeans/pants for extra support. Sometimes I even folded it in half and wore it under the bump in front and at my waist in the back--sort of like a tummy hammock. Post partum I wore it for moooooonths as it felt like comfortable support, helped me feel less squishy, and perhaps best...made me feel like I had coverage when I was nursing regardless of how good a top is, you almost always can see down into the shirt or there's reveal if you have to lift up and feed baby from underneath. Not sure if any of these would work for you, but personally, I had like, 6 of these and felt like it wasn't enough :)
I really do love that you are so open about having trouble with breastfeeding and keeping an open mind about it. It was a struggle for me and we had to supplement from the beginning. Good luck on it this time around!
I saw that vogue just did a what makeup and skin care that Phoebe aka Daphne from Bridgerton uses and I'm like, yup definitely a Jessica type video coming up. She uses a good amount of Charlotte tilbury too! Really hoping you do that as your next celebrity inspired video. She's beautiful and so are you Jess.
Nursing tanks!! They are the best!! I wore them all the time…under a tshirt, cardigan, sweater, etc. I even slept in them sometimes; especially in the beginning when I felt like I needed more support up top and in the belly. One of my favorite things about the tanks is how much it help smooth out the lumps/bumps of my postpartum belly. I nursed my second for a year and wore one of these tanks at least 4 days a week. I these bought these from Amazon and loved them. DAISITY Women's Nursing Tank Top Cami Maternity Bra Breastfeeding Shirts
I have no plans to have another but I still enjoyed watching all of this! I am soooo fascinated by being one of six! Jessica sometimes mentions this but never talks in detail about it. I would LOVE to hear more about what this was like. Would your mom ever consider joining you for a video on this, too?? 😍
Not pregnant, but still watched this till the end. It's also a really great gift guide for pregnancy/baby showers!! Could you do a "recommendations from a mom for baby shower gifts" guide? Sometimes it's so hard to know what to get for something like that!
YES ON THE ROBE 🤣 pregnant with #2 and my husband bought me a gorgeous cream barefoot dreams robe and he even said “it’ll be nice in the hospital!” And I was like “Oh no I’m not doing that! I’ll enjoy it till birth and then like 6 weeks after birth!” And he didn’t understand because he didn’t remember from last time 🤣
I’m reading Expecting Better and loving it. I listened to an interview with her years and years ago and put the book on my Amazon list “just in case” - and now here I am pregnant for the first time!
Not pregnant but love pregnancy videos to get as much advice as I can for when I am. I love love looooove your humour. Hands down giggling with you every other minute.
I’m not pregnant and don’t plan to be anytime soon, but I just appreciate your recommendations so much that I know I have to watch this. I might end up finding something I need now, even not pregnant! Lol
When I was preparing my hospital bag, I bought a new nightgown. I’m not a nightgown person, but it was perfect. I changed into it after I delivered, and it made me feel a little more put together when family came versus being in the hospital gown. (It looked like I was just wearing one of my regular shirt dresses.) But because it was a gown, the nurses could still easily check me. It also had zippers on the sides for nursing so I didnt have to hike the gown all the way up and be totally exposed in case we had a guest walk in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Magnesium is great for sleep, muscle cramps, bowl movements, helping with migraines, lowering blood sugar, improving blood pressure, and overall mood Always ask your health care provider first but I would definitely take it daily even if you’re not pregnant.
Nursing your second baby is 1000% easier!! Even if it’s not perfect, it so much better having even just an idea of what breastfeeding entails. I think us women are way to hard on ourselves when something isn’t perfect. If baby is fed, that’s all that matters!!
You are my comfort UA-camr, even though I have 0 plans to ever have a baby any time soon..Yes I will still watch this whole video, AND be happy for you to have find things that help you through this wonderful journey. ✨
I’m so happy you talked about the congestion and sinus pressure! I’ve honestly been scared to mention it to my doctor because of COVID and I know it’s not COVID but I don’t want to be told I can’t come in. So thank you! Will be mentioning it at my next appointment
You're way more chill this pregnancy ❤ Luckily I had my first in the 89 so no internet etc. I had no expectations during pregnancy or postpartum. If I had a question, I asked my mom (I was only 18). I had my second at 26 lol
I love the Auden bras! I have also loved the Zelle’s pregnancy leggings. I got my normal pre pregnancy size (m) and it still fits me at 39 weeks and 50 pounds later
I have three kiddos All grown up Husband is now snipped But I watched this whole video and it was fab The things that haven’t and have changed since I was last pregnant 8 years ago is cray x
Post partum, I cannot overstate my recommendation for Latched Mama clothing. Unparalleled comfort & very cleverly designed for function. I feel cute in all my Latched Mama duds. 🤰🤱👩🍼
If you need jeans with lots of support, Blanqi is the way to go! They’re pretty expensive, but they have so much support that it’s worth it. I have a bad back and luckily didn’t experience too much back pain when I was pregnant with my first. I think the jeans are part of the reason why!
My favorite way to use my extra long heating pad is to throw the cord over my shoulder and lay it down my back. Then put my bathrobe on top of that. Sitting at my desk all nice and toasty especially in the winter is a definite perk.
I like these videos! Maybe because I'm in a similar life stage. Pregnant with baby #3 and I definitely feel more prepared for postpartum than I was when having baby #1. Didn't need to waste money buying clothing or products that never worked in the past. Can just chill and rely on the old reliables. Thanks for sharing your favs!
I love hearing your book recommendations for pregnancy and postpartum! Does Tyler have a favorite dad book he's read? This year we are going to start trying and he's curious what books are geared toward dads, but are as hands-on as the mom books.
When I had my 3rd baby in 83 my doctor gave me a new pill for morning sickness. It was a godsend. I believe they took it off the market because it wasn't around for my 5th baby. I was so sick all the time
As a woman who will never experience pregnancy,I still find videos like these super interesting. Can't hurt to know these things in case someone in my life is preggo and needing tips. Plus I can't not watch a Jess video! Lol 💜
I bought that pillow after you recommended it months ago. I freaking love it! It even helped with my hip pain because my spine is more aligned while sleeping.
Ok Jessica, this is how much I like watching your videos. I’m 38 have 2 kids. One 9 and one 16(who just passed her drivers permit!) so definitely no more kids in my future. BUT do I still watch this video, absolutely!
I just found out I am pregnant and as soon as I found out I was like welp time to find recommendations from Jessica because I know she’ll have me covered 🥰
I have 2 Bella bands and I wore them all the way through with my second and wearing one now 2 days post-partum. I like the slight compression. Especially in the 3rd trimester, I noticed my back hurt significantly less at the end of the day on days that I wore one. I never did get one of those big pregnancy “lifting” belts as these bands were all I needed with both pregnancies.
I never want to personally be pregnant but I find it still interesting. Plus its like hanging out with my big "sis," Jessica I also have to laugh cause I have chronic nausea and have been on a med thats typically for pregnant women because of it
I’m 36.5 weeks! I wore the lulu aligns until like 30 weeks. They started rolling down like you said! I think nobody talks about this brand but Beyond Yogas maternity leggings and joggers - OMG I have been living in them. They are pretty pricey but those are the only things I’ve been wearing 30w+ and planning to wear the joggers for my going home outfit!
This was wonderful! My son and his wife are having a baby due Apr 10. (I think that's close to your date). This is their first baby and have no interest in going to prenatal classes, reading books or even watching UA-cam. I was a maternity nurse but retired 14 Yeats ago. The info you have is current and I find it very helpful. I'll be able to pass bits on to them. You're also very entertaining. ❤️
I found out I was pregnant 4 days ago. I’m almost 6 weeks… it was completely unplanned and honestly made me kinda sad at first. But now I am getting some excitement forming and have found your channel. I watched only two so far but can already tell I’m gonna love you ❤️ thank you so much for the information you put out
Oh hun I get you. I was the same way when I found out I was pregnant and not the way I wanted to be.. I was sad and other feeling but now I’m going on 8 months in 2 days and I’m super excited and overwhelmed in a good way:) hope you’re pregnancy is going well!
I’m done having babies, but I still found this helpful for the pillow recommendation! I’ve been on the hunt for a good pillow and my first 2 attempts were fails. I feel I need more (good) sleep now dealing with my 3 young teens and pre-teens than when they were babies. 😂
Thank you for sharing your pregnancy journey. I am pregnant for the first time, my due date is in May and these videos have been really helpful for me. There is so much out there and it’s overwhelming and I really appreciate your recommendations💙 Congrats on your pregnancy!! Excited to be going through this journey with you💙
Am I pregnant? No. Do I intend to get pregnant soon? Also no. Do I have a cup of coffee in my hand that I know will be best enjoyed while listening to Jess talk enthusiastically about things she likes? Heck yes!
Expecting Better is the ONLY pregnancy book I read when I was pregnant in 2020. It's amazing! I'm about halfway through Cribsheet (her next book) - It's also great, I'm just caught up in other books too :)
Funny thing, when I was pregnant with my 2 boys, I was nauseous all the time. I only found 1 thing to rid me of the upset stomach. Smelling steaming hot coffee. One big whiff and I was good. And I do not nor have I ever drank coffee. I drink tea. I did not care. The smell is divine.
I re-watched your last video about what you bought when you had Genevieve, and those camis in the three pack!? Life savers. I had them for both pregnancies! Thanks for the advice!!!
The Auden bras are AMAZING! I stopped using the clip nursing bras unless I want to wear padding. I bought a few of the Auden ones. But Walmart’s Time and True brand also sells the same version in a 2 pack with padding for a few dollars cheaper. Seriously I’ve stocked up on these kinds of nursing bras simply for the convenience of them.
Me and my boyfriend broke up recently sooooo I’m not getting pregnant anytime soon but I don’t care bc I love everything you post and will watch IT ALL!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm not pregnant, but I do have IBS and eczema so I watched till the End - getting the Stomach Settle Drops and the Burt's Butter Skin Care... I'm so happy for you and Tyler Jessica, ❤️
Am i pregnant? No. Do I want to be someday? Also no. Did I still watch this entire video just because I love Jessica? Absolutely yes!
Same....having kids are a big no for me but I like watching baby video lol
Same I have no plans to get pregnant ever as a lesbian 😭
I’m 67 and am enjoying this. I just love Jess.
Same!! I will watch any Jessica video because I love her!
I was coming here to say the exact same thing! Thank you for voicing my thoughts perfectly 🤣
I was just at the thrift store (Goodwill) yesterday and they had a lot of maternity pants. If you’re not wanting to spend a lot of money, checking out your local thrift store is a to go to add to your closet! (And buying preowned is environmentally friendly!)
If there's a kid to kid in your area they also carry maternity clothes! Also good to know so you can sell them there when you're done with them. 😄
Thank you for this. I’m going to be 11 weeks tomorrow and I have found they don’t sell maternity anywhere 😭
I was coming to comment the same thing…my 49 year old self looking at the title and saying yep, we must watch that ☺️
same!
For my daughter I need this information. Right?
i’m a mail carrier for the USPS which can get super repetitive and boring but i’ll just let your videos play while i’m delivering and it honestly makes my day so much better! your voice is so nice to listen to

Dios te cuide en todo este proceso y a tu 🍼 baby
Not pregnant but love pregnancy videos to get as much advice as I can for when I am. I love love looooove your humour. Hands down giggling with you every other minute.
I am 58 years old, in menopause and just watched the whole video simply because it's Jessica!
not pregnant or planning to be like ever but love jess so therefore watching every video she posts haha
Still going to watch because you're my favorite youtuber even though I'm not pregnant and don't plan to be. Gotta be comfy all the time 😅
Watched all these pregnancy videos right when you posted them. I just found out I’m pregnant and I’m so excited!
I’m not pregnant and don’t plan to be anytime soon, but I just appreciate your recommendations so much that I know I have to watch this. I might end up finding something I need now, even not pregnant! Lol
As a current breastfeeding momma (6 months in🤗) I HIGHLY recommend those pullover nursing bras! They are So so much better than the clip nursing bras
When I was preparing my hospital bag, I bought a new nightgown. I’m not a nightgown person, but it was perfect. I changed into it after I delivered, and it made me feel a little more put together when family came versus being in the hospital gown. That sounds amazing! Which nightgown did you buy, if you don't mind telling?
Magnesium is great for sleep, muscle cramps, bowl movements, helping with migraines, lowering blood sugar, improving blood pressure, and overall mood
Always ask your health care provider first but I would definitely take it daily even if you’re not pregnant.

Unfortunately I was told I would never have kids. However I love these videos to see what things are available for friends and family having kids.
I’ve watched tons of these videos now that I’m pregnant with my first and yours is the first one where I literally want everything you mentioned!
You are my comfort UA-camr, even though I have 0 plans to ever have a baby any time soon..Yes I will still watch this whole video, AND be happy for you to have find things that help you through this wonderful journey. ✨
38 and Not pregnant .not going to ever be . But i still loved watching this because you know ..Jessica! She’s the freaking best! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm not pregnant and don't plan to have kids, but I still watched and enjoyed this - gave me some good ideas about potential gifts!
I love the Auden bras! I have also loved the Zelle’s pregnancy leggings. I got my normal pre pregnancy size (m) and it still fits me at 39 weeks and 50 pounds later
I have three kiddos
All grown up
Husband is now snipped
But I watched this whole video and it was fab
The things that haven’t and have changed since I was last pregnant 8 years ago is cray x
Why am I watching a maternity video!? I have 3 babies and I’m done. But awwwww I love babies and prego mommas!!! Get it Jess!!!!
Your giggle is so cute. Loved this video
Not me watching a pregnancy video when I am 41 and never bearing children again just because watching Jessica is so relaxing to me..🤣🤣🤣🤣
Im way past the pregnancy train; just love Jessica!!
Post partum, I cannot overstate my recommendation for Latched Mama clothing. Unparalleled comfort & very cleverly designed for function. I feel cute in all my Latched Mama duds. 🤰🤱👩🍼
I'm not currently pregnant and have a 1 year old but I still love these videos. 😁

Thanks for all the info! I’m 25 and this is my first pregnancy, all the resources I’ve found online have been super helpful!
I love hearing your book recommendations for pregnancy and postpartum! Does Tyler have a favorite dad book he's read? This year we are going to start trying and he's curious what books are geared toward dads, but are as hands-on as the mom books.

Posted 17 seconds ago i am so EARLY!! Love you Jess!!!!! And Tyler and Gigi and BABY!!!

Totally not pregnant, and at 47 I won't ever be again, but here I am watching this... cuz I love Jessica! ❤
42, not pregnant and I had a hysterectomy but I’m still here for Jessica! 🤣
I’m 20 weeks pregnant with my first baby. When I had nausea vitamin B6 really helped me too
Yay! Love seeing what ppl have found that they love. Currently 41+wks with my second 🤪
I love seeing this content for GIFT IDEAS!!! Thank you for great recommendations!
I had six children and the B6 was a GAMECHANGER with my nausea‼️
It’s like you knew that I was looking at your channel this morning for baby must haves!!
As I’ve understood it, the prescription for morning sickness consists of B6 & the active ingredient in Unisom (doxy…), it’s just combined in 1 pill
Old Navy has great pregnancy and nursing clothing!!
I just love love this long videos explaining every single detail 😂❤
Do a newborn essentials video and baby products regrets since you're a second mom :)
Those Auden nursing bras without a clip are a MUST!!! I’m 10 months postpartum (still breastfeeding) and use them constantly.
I never want to personally be pregnant but I find it still interesting. Plus its like hanging out with my big "sis," Jessica
I also have to laugh cause I have chronic nausea and have been on a med thats typically for pregnant women because of it

Just had my second baby yesterday! Was still happy to see this video pop. Will have to do some late night online shopping.
I’m 5 month pp and don’t plan on having another for a while, but I’m still excited about all this pregnancy content!
I love your videos of things you would recommend. They are thorough. And I like you give the reason you like what you recommend
52 year old , youngest is about to graduate from college in elementary education.. still watching Jessica's pregnancy videos. LOL!
Great recommendations. Currently 19 weeks with my first.
The wedge pillow was the best pregnancy purchase I made!
Thank you for sharing your pregnancy journey. I am pregnant for the first time, my due date is in May and these videos have been really helpful for me. There is so much out there and it’s overwhelming and I really appreciate your recommendations💙 Congrats on your pregnancy!! Excited to be going through this journey with you💙
Just found out I'm pregnant!!! Thank you for sharing things you learned and used.
Those Auden bras are amazinggggg.. as well as that Burt’s bees belly butter!
I’m not even pregnant but I’m here for all this content 😂👏🏼
Love love love your pregnancy/baby videos!!
LOL I USE ONE OF THOSE VINTAGE HEAT BLANKETS :'D still here to tell the tale. for now.
I wish I watched this video sooner! Your advice helped me more than any other video!
I got my fiance the pillow for Christmas because you recommended it. He loves it. Thank you.
Clicked on this video so fast!
23 weeks with my second 💙💙
Me and my boyfriend broke up recently sooooo I’m not getting pregnant anytime soon but I don’t care bc I love everything you post and will watch IT ALL!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm not pregnant, but I do have IBS and eczema so I watched till the End - getting the Stomach Settle Drops and the Burt's Butter Skin Care... I'm so happy for you and Tyler Jessica, ❤️
I love your personality. You're so natural and cute 💕 im pregnant and you bring joy to my day
I slept with a Wedge pillow and a body pillow when I was pregnant. I needed both. I also used an old camisole for belly band.
Not pregnant, never have been… still got excited to watch… lol fascinating
