Great playing and singing Billy 👏🎶
Billy is one of the finest flat pickers who ever held a guitar. Damn, I wish I'd started playing when I was 6 like he did!
This is just so undeniably Robert Hunter.
Jay
So much talent an just truly blows me away thanks for sharing keep on rockin me baby
Beautiful.
Hey Billy, Thunder is so good, I wish I had some lightning (White, that is) while I watch and listen to the best band around!
Just what I needed.
Goodness!
You are the best brother ✌
Outstanding
Sweet! Thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching Josh!
He's the best person to do the Dead since Fare Thee Well. The spirit of Jerr Bear shines in this bub. I mean they gave him a whole unreleased jam to build off of! Meanwhile -despite seeing Dead & Co as much as I can cuz of course- Mayer hasn't even come close to that level of respect or adventurous spirit. ⚡🔥
It's hard to imagine that mans career has just started. (MOG) Billy Strings
My heart soars ❤️🎸🎵💀
That was some mighty fine a-pickin and a-grinin
Threw in a riff from The Other One during the slower part of the jazzy lead excursion. Momentary so listen for it.
Caught it. Thanks. A young 23 girl works for my lawyer turned me onto Billy. I'm 58. She also mentioned a band called Goose. I haven't got to Goose yet. Lol This was 5 years ago.
When and if Bobby decides to retire, I can see Billy stepping in, That place would have exploded if he'd went further into the other on. The music never stopped
@@johnnyturner4248 Try Mikaela Davis and Southern Star doing The Bird Song and several other Dead covers. For jazz funk, try Lettuce with Ryan Zoidis. Goose turns out to be serendipitous for me when I looked them up. They're from Norwalk, CT, where my three brothers were born and I have my earliest memories from ages 2-6. "See now how everything lead up to this day." And Goose is a jam band to boot!
Wow. He’s in a league of one.
Billy wrote the music to Robert Hunter's lyrics on this song.
Wow.
I'm hearing some Allman brothers Sweet Melissa in there.
🍀
Was billy flirting around just a little with Darkstar? Smoking hot Billy boy! Mad props
Definitely!
Omg
Someone said John Maynard (what ever) is carrying on the legacy of the greatful dead and Jerry. That someone was wrong
LFG
DeadAzz thought 🤔 it was MGK at first
You must have been real high. Lol
He wishes lol
