Mary ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon last weekend whilst I watched (insert sad face for me here). Despite the weather she had a lovely time and here is our review of the race....

This Messy Happy maybe my second full marathon. Qualifying for Boston is my main goal because it’s my home race. I wasn’t too far off my first try so I just need to keep working at it

Lo Lo I followed Ben’s 10K training plan after several years off from running and ran a strong 10K 2 weekends ago. Definitely recommended!

Thanks to you I did my 1st event and half marathon today in less than 1.47 with no training before your 6 week training plan.

My vote goes to half marathon. It took me 6 or 7 years to step up to marathon. Take your time and make it a lifetime thing. Too much distance too soon can do damage. Your body needs time to adapt 👍🏻

Great video! I finally got into this race through the lottery, after trying for four years, and now it's been pushed back to April (and will probably get bumped back again). But it absolutely looks epic. Congrats, Mary!

Ha ha well done mate. Look at us chasing our wives round for a change. She probably deserved it after years of coming to my races. Although I still find supporting hard as I want to run too!! 😂

Ohhh believe me she can get mad as she lives with me!! 😂 but generally she’s a very happy smiley individual 🤟🏼
I dont think you guys said what time she got on this race? did mary get her sub 1:30:00 yet?
Hey, no 1:30 yet but we think maybe next year. It’s doable. She did a 42.20 10k recently and that’s above the pace you need for a 1:30 so we’re building!! 🤞
Wow a 42:20 10k is almost dead on what she needs for a 130 half marathon. If she wants it bad enough she can do. This youtube channel you started should hopefully push her to get it done! i think shes got it no problem
