    Another short but sweet video , film of the 44s in BR blue is a lot rarer than many people realise

    My spotting era was mid 70's to early 80's. Wonderful times however they were blighted by me never going to Trent Junction. I loved the peaks, particularly the 44's. So glad I went to Toton depot a couple of times and I think I managed to see all 10, but never got to see any of them actually running.

    Perfect!!! My favorite years AND I’m from Leicester too. Thank you so much for sharing!! I remember the 44’s on freights heading through south Leicester. Toton open day 1981 was a great place to see them close up
