- Lizzy Borden being interviewed by Adam Curry on MTV's Headbangers Ball, right around his cover of "Born to Be Wild" for The Decline of Western Civilization II: The Metal Years. This is between Visual Lies and Master of Disguise, so almost certainly summer or fall 1988. Clip includes the whole interview and the video for "Born to Be Wild."
What a killer voice and they performed top notch everytime!!! Extremely talented
but under rated. Many crappy bands of the 80's made it big time but Lizzy Borden,
who is so much better, deserved so much more fame
Couldnt agree more!!
Yep. Many crappy bands like Poison
couldn't agree more. lizzy has one of the best voices in 80's metal. check out the band 'obsession' if you never have. another underrated band with an excellent vocalist with huge range. songs to check out 'waiting for your call' and 'missing you'. 2 of their songs are used on the sleepaway camp films.
Master of Disguise is still a masterpiece!!!
Very underrated, great singer too..
I always thought he was very underrated. Excellent voice and great stage presence.
The voice of the Heavy Metal!
So quiet in person, bombastic on stage. Amazing singer
Great singer!
What a nice guy outside of the costumes, but a fuckin hellion on stage🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Lizzy Borden practiced all the time on my street in simi valley. Gene Allen is really Gene Duarte....and I was friends with Dion....genes little bro. They played all they played all the time
Great artist 🤘
a voice of a well tuned trumpet, one of the best singers out there. Lizzy can do no wrong. music is a gift and he,s got it. songwriting is awesome. the fallen angels must die!!!
MY HERO OF W.A.S.P. MY FAVORITE GUITAR PLAYER.GREAT SONG LET IT ROAR.THNX BROTHERS OUT THERE.
"MY HERO OF W.A.S.P. MY FAVORITE GUITAR PLAYER"
Lizzy Borden is your 'hero of W.A.S.P' and is also your favourite guitar player in a band he's not in?
Well in that case,... thanks for the conversation we never had next tuesday i look forward to remembering never having spoken to you. Again. - Hello
great, this band should be bigger...
Was privileged to see Lizzy Borden on the Deal with the Devil tour at dearly departed 328 Performance Hall in Nashville. They were ostensibly opening for Yngwie, but I thought they blew him off the stage. Just a killer rock show and one of my favorite live music experiences of all-time.
328 had some great bands back in the day.im from middle TN...Lizzy rules
Una bestia del metal sin lugar a dudas !!!!!!!!!
Lizzy Borden for the folks who dont know it is real Heavy Metal, probably the best in town
I remember watching this back in 1988. Awesome show & Awesome Band - Lizzy Borden.
I've been a fan since menace to society. Love Bloody Mary, generation aliens, love kills ultra violence. The whole album rocks. Plus me against the world and all the new stuff. 👍👍👍😎🐶
That is some big hair.
always loved Lizzy......
Did Lizzie Borden sing oper music? Great voice
He looks so much like Jeff Conaway
He always seemed like a cool guy
Maravilhoso ♥
Michael Davis is kickin ass on the BASS!!!
william defoe
"Cha-Cha-Cha-Chia!!!!!"
Great Singer.
Here, he reminds me of the wild boy on Mad Max. Cool guy, I met him when he played at a club in Virginia.
Maestro...
Bill Ze Loreden?
Stroumph!
Smid ire and an Ace? Skidmore and an Ace?
Lead Paint and a Chu?
Hmmm
Mercury and a Switch?
Cheese Slice and a Diamondback?
Which of the two most scoffed subjects ... They look "beautiful". I think even the shorts have them perfumed (shit)
What was Lizzy Borden solo album called? did it ever come out
Yes. He's talking about Master of Disguise.
@@elrodclyde3003 But that is not a solo album because their was 3 albums before that with that band called lizzy borden and he is talking about recording a separate solo album which I think got shelved or something
@@waynegram8907 Understood. I still think what he's talking about in this interview became Master of Disguise. There is no shelved solo album.
@@elrodclyde3003 I wonder why he labeled it as a Solo Album instead of just saying the band lizzy borden will be release a new album soon instead he says he is making a separate solo album which will not be with the band lizzy borden.
@@waynegram8907happens a lot in rock and metal bands , the singer is supposed to release a solo album and the record company and managers make them release it under the band name , like twisted sister , love is for suckers was supposed to be a dee solo album but came out as twisted sister
I just realised that he looks quite like Jim Carrey!
Whaaa???
He looks like Bon Jovi.
Only he sings a thousands times better.
Patrick Wescott, lol... The biggest shame of the whole 1980s was bands that made it big being at the right place at the right time. Yet, really when you looked at them closely. They were not the best of the best talent wise.
what a joke,,,,, maybe just the look,,,but not his voice at all,,,, Lizzy is 10 times better than bon fuck?& jovi
I would say he reminders me Joey tempest
@@guitarristaentusiasta_ I thought I was the only one who thought they were alike lol
Great talent I’m a fan of his music.
Nice haircut
Hair! Ace
