FYI, correction the Evo80 has a storage for the 2.4Ghz under the top case next to the up arrow key. This is visible when you take the top case off in the video. My Azure switches were super smooth, just too light for me so I put HMX Xinhai Heavy in mine and put my set of PBTfans Subarashī which matches perfectly. I love the Evo80 but I'm a biased QK fan, I can admit that. I did do KS for the Rainy75 but sold that board as I just never bonded with it and it helped to fun my Neo75cu purchase. The Crush 80 looks very nice but as I have an Neo 80 as well I'm full up at the moment on TKL boards. Fantastic review, I agree the winner in this is definitely the customer. The price of the current boards for what you get compared to a couple of years ago is stunning at times!
I have the Crush80 and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! Best keyboard I've owned, including ones I've built and modded myself. Stock is amazing. Stabs are so solid, nice and thocky, buttery smooth. I'd still love an Evo80 to add to the collection, though ~
How does the Evo80 or Crush80 compete with the Mchose GX87? It looks like a clear copy of these keyboards for the fraction of the price. Did you have a chance to test it?
I have always wondered: is this the actual sound you hear from your ears? Because sometimes it feels like the sound it's just so good because it is captured from a very good microphone and stuff. I have heard many sound tests of these keyboards and in some of them the sound doesn't seem at all this good.
Was looking for a video comparing these two, and couldn't have asked for better. Really useful information and metrics, thank you. I have ordered a Crush80 and am awaiting delivery. I'm in Australia so there's no easy or reasonably priced way for me to get an Evo80 delivered here as far as I'm aware, but I wanted to know whether I would be getting a significantly poorer product in the Crush80. Seems they're pretty much on par and I shouldn't be disappointed.
@@semiprotech Received it today. No regrets. Spacebar is a little pingy, but I think that can be remedied. Otherwise it feels and sounds delightful. Connected easily to my work laptop. Light effect options are plenty.
I bought Crush80 cause it support more layout and has cheaper version. I have one problem that the plate doesn't support more layout than it's stock TKL layout. Did anyone has the multi layout for Crush80 here?
The only advantage of the Q3 Max is the mac switch. Other than that, Evo80 destroys it out of the water. (Better mounting, Design and easier opening of the case)

This Video was really helpful and overall very well made. I love your background lights btw - nice touch.
Great timing on this video as currently these are my two choices I’m trying to decide on😉
I just got an Evo80 and love it, but it's not stopping me from also wanting to pick up the Crush80 as well.
El vídeo que andaba buscando ❤❤❤
Definitely leaning towards the crush80 for this one thank you for the comparison… shipping is an extra $20 which is a yikes …
Do you have any plans on making review for QK80 MK2 - 80% TKL? Or any other QwertyKeys keyboard?

I have a crush 80 and the sound test is exactly what I hear while typing

I'm keeping the Crush80 on my desk for a while, after swapping the switches to HMX Gravel I'm really enjoying it!

Berserkeys and Keeb and Cables stock the evo 80 in AU
I love the crush80. I’m using the ALU plate and getting the same switches today.
Leaning towards the crush 80, since there's no shipping with amazon prime.
really good video. i learned that i actually don't like these TKL keyboards i am thinking about a Nuphy air 75 v2

I was deciding between these 2 and i chose the evo80 its awesome
I wanted the Evo badly but I hate the way the back looks with the turquoise on black. I know you won't see it but I'll still know it's there
You could always just paint over it.
Trying to decide between Keychron q3 max vs evo80. Can someone explain to me the pros and cons of each and which one you would pick? Thanks.
The only advantage of the Q3 Max is the mac switch.
