Class Size Reduction approved. Balance of Power Shifts in LAUSD

On June 18, 2013 a resolution presented by LAUSD Board Members Vladovic, Kayser & Zimmer was passed in support of reducing class size in LAUSD. The recent change in the political makeup of the Board was obvious. Ms. Garcia, the outgoing LAUSD Board President & ally of outgoing Mayor Villaraigosa, has seen her power diminished on numerous resolutions that the board has voted on.
