And I think of her Kennedy Center tribute to Elton John. Sir Elton, unsuccessfully holding back tears hearing he and Mr. Taupin's excellent YOUR SONG, Ms. Headley spinning a web of subtle truth and controlled, yet raw emotion. In these moments I say, "If you don't know, then that's totally and completely on you."
I have heard Andrea sing with other performers. However, as commented earlier, this is the best performance. Heather has an anointing, a gift from God. She sings from her heart, and I can see and feel her passion. The two of them complement each other beautifully!

I completely disagree with the negative comments here. Andrea's voice is incredible as always, but Heather Headley performs the female vocals perfectly. And remember that her part is not an English translation at all -- the lyrics are different and complimentary. Her performance is stellar.
Yes. Exactly why interpration is not the same as a direct translation. It's incredibly difficult. I'm tri-lingual. So many things do not literally translate.

Wow, truly amazing voices! I can listen to the two of them sing countless times and not get tired of their voices.
