- Many people especially college students believe that an MBA is the solution to everything in their career! Be it high-paying jobs or a great corporate career, everyone believes there’s no dark side to an MBA and all we have is the benefits.
In this video, we discuss the other side, the dark side of MBA which is not talked about enough, which is needed to make a bold and better decision and help us find the right career path.
Doing an MBA is mostly fruitful only when you’re getting into a tier 1 college. The other colleges never really offer the right ROI or opportunities or exposure or in fact even good jobs! Let’s dwell on all these points in this video.

In my opinion, I think both things are correct whether you gain experience after a bachelor's or pursue a master's degree because doing a job you can gain practical knowledge about the industry but I think while doing a job, suddenly switching to a master degree became a little bit difficult because you rely on your salary and it became a little bit difficult to be a student again.

but if we take a long term perspective then even if you're getting 7-8 lpa as a starting salary then after 5-10 years of experience and some good switches one can earn 20+ lpa which is not a bad salary at all , and after mba you also make good connections which will help you if you want to do business in the future..

I think I will not able to get top colleges (not good mark in xat)..it was my 1st time while continuing bsc(passing 24)..I had prepared for medical for 3 times but failed...it still hurts..I had no experience of job. padhai kar... get 98+ percentile in cat&xat ... prepre for interviews and get into BLACKI or XLRI with avg placement 32lpa+ and fees of 25 lakh(total)
and better yet if u dont want to spend any money... get 99+ in cat and target FMS delhi... avg. package 32 LPA and fees of around 4 lakh(total)
but cat ke liye padhna padega and profile strong karna padega... mba from any top 20 college will definitely add value in your life

Yes.. This is also my point of view.. There is no job just after BSC😢. U just got sales job Or telecalling job Or content writter ..most of them salary is not more than 15k. That job anyone can get after 12 also. So what are the benefits of doing bsc honours and spends 50 thousands..I recently work in hdfc life. The unbelievable and Unberarble pressure in sales 😢😢 life is going to hell😢😢

You got exemptions in acca go for it or cfa ( but little expensive) or cpa you decide but acca is better you don't need to give all exams

sir i`m going to do MBA from tier 2.5 collage named IEM kolkata and the fees is 6.4 lakhs, i dont expect too much highly paid jobs, 3-5 lakhs per annum is definitely enough for me. Should i do or not pls help.
I think you should have done it if your expectations are not that high. I think it's good.
Once you are done with 1 year work ex, go ahead and start preparing for CAT. By the time you have ~2 or 2+ work ex and are in an MBA program, you'd be right up the front row for all companies visiting these campuses.
Also 1:40, IIT Roorkee isn't Tier 1. It's at the low rung of Tier 2 colleges.

@@Srijitaa02567 to be very honest, I think it's too risky for me. Doing an MBA full-time and then getting a sales job isn't something I would ever want in life, I don't have connections also for any kind of referral later. Plus, I'm from bio and med background, my maths isn't good and the chances of scoring a decent percentile is very less.

@@Srijitaa02567 hi so IIM A is one of the best in county so try to improve in graduation and basically for ENGINEERING U HAVE TO score 99 percentile then u would be getting call but for Bcom do research at what percentile they are giving call and see geeting IIM calls that too from IIM ABC either ur field should be unique so that u can get a call from lower percentile or u have to score very good percentile or u should have category
