We need to remember that a majority of Indians don't have the privilege to jump into entrepreneurship. A degree like MBA can never run out of value, especially when done from a premium institution. It's a humble request to not misguide the young population. Please encourage the people to study hard and earn a good degree before labeling it as unworthy.

@@kaliamalia2242 Focus on doing your best instead of obsessing over IIMs. If you do MBA from a top tier college you'll get a good job profile and minimum package over a Lakh in hand per month.
Firstly, it's on the individual to choose the career that he/she really wants to pursue, doing an MBA obviously need some calculative decision to make and we can't just rely on this podcast to choose MBA or not. And its better to do something than to just think big and not do anything. Encouraging entrepreneurship is good but it requires a lot of support, experience and involvement everybody cannot afford this, that is truly said here. Thanks.

Last example he shared is actualy referred to as white labeling and not drop shipping. Almost all major fashion brands do that. Even levis import their propducts fabric as well as stiched clothes from india, bangladesh indonesia etc

MBA boomed up in 2000 as it came with campaign If you are MBA you will get good package and Job position....In 2023 , you have to know ,is their job availability in your area which hire MBA and give salary what you expect..Doing MBA by spending lakhs of money and putting family under loan has no sense....If your family has lakhs rupees in extra than you invest in program charging lakhs otherwise no sense
Mba from top b schools is 100% worth it. But Mba from low tier colleges is never worth. I know many people earning 25-30k or even more less after doing Mba spending 10 lakhs
That's not entirely true. In early 2000, dollar used to be equivalent to 40 rupees which is now more than double, but salary for freshers hasn't increased with same pace.
In 2008, a fresher in IT companies like TCS & Infosys used to get 3 lakh as a starting package and it is almost similar even after 15 years.

Well I guess that's how depreciation of currency benifits a developing nation ! Investors get work done in less amount due to lower currency value, but the employee get same salary but most importantly they get a Job ! West accuses China of lowering their currency value so that there products would purchased/prefered over local products as they are expensive then Chinese products.
It's just my personal opinion, but many people out there believe there's a structured way of getting a job/salary. Though many engineering colleges have made it appear to us in this way. But most of us, tend to believe, Go to a college + complete the degree/Assignments/Exam = Job.
Most of the people opt for MBA, just because they want higher packages, not because they think they are the right fit for the kind of work the recruiters are expecting from them. But it doesn't work that way. You have to believe in your work profile, the kind of work which complements your happiness and skills. I know it's a cliche advise, but trust me there is always some kind of work in corporate you would happily do. You have to get yourself to know what's required to be a valuable asset, you have to figure it out on your own, search, read, be smart. There's no course or a structured syllabus to Excel, just like there's no syllabus to crate a booming business. You have to be creative and smart. Because if there were, everyone would have made it , right?
Just the silver lining as I don't wanna make it descriptive. But never ever forget or ignore the fact that am I really worth the money I am getting? Can I be replaced? Can the company find a cheaper replacement to do the same work? How can I become irreplaceable? Is just studying technical worth it or do I have to have different skills as add-on? Am I just an employee or am I someone selling my skills to the company?

Dude average package of IIM is 25-28 lakhs, average package of srcc is 9.5-10 lakhs, its the highest out of all the colleges you mentioned in the 2nd paragraph.
Is it just me or did anyone else find the last example he gave of drop shipping done by one of his students pretty problematic? Ripping off the labor of poor indigenous people and making 10 times the amount is kinda unethical. Not to mention the other problematic issues like cultural appropriation also that maybe involved.

@@smthsmthsmths thats very subjective imo, the thing is you are leveraging someonels's idea to buildup ur foundation for business, since you cannot "materialise" an idea so no one gets to have a specific ownership over it.
Take example of Apple vs Other budget phone, most modern phones (Redmi) very closely resembles iphones designs & sell it to mass market at a reasonable price. SO its kind of a drop shipping technique except they are selling in a lower price.
So now if Redmi starts to think about ethics and decides to not choose to bring notches on display, provided there is demand for the asthetics in the market that won't help in running business. will it?

I am in class 9 confused with the career choice and was getting interested with MBA but this also confused me as I don't think so anyone in the video targeted MBA and also in the comment section there is a very mixed review so can anyone suggest me some ideas ?? I am graduated in MBA finance. I agree with the views points in this video towards MBA students. I am working as a financial analyst in a multinational company with 3.5L pa. My colleagues who just completed under graduation like BBA and B com also getting the same package. Companies are not exactly looking for MBAs but if they find one, they are picking for cheap cost. Everyday regretting my self y I have done MBA. If i have not done MBA now my package would be 7 to 9 lpa. It would be a different story If i have done MBA from IIM. NO ONE THERE TO GUIDE ME AT THAT TIME 😢

@@rohangodse4182 whats he is saying is partially true. Cz most of the big mnc's just hire people and keep them in reserved pool. And sometimes these candidates are kept in reserve pool even for 6 months or a year. Also some of the mnc's arent efficient they effectively work for 2-3 hours a day most of the time is wasted in meetings etc. So as theres recetion coming up (not sure about this) companies have stared identifying these areas and laying off buch of employees. Fb twitter amazon has already done this. But having said this if you are going for engineering go for CS/IT cz even if one doesn't take up CS/IT at the end they end up in IT companies. Cz in the engineering field cs/it is still the most lucaritive field. Just think about it yourself right from each and every electical equipments to our vehicles everything is smart now. So whos going to manufacture and maintain those.
Ajkl har ek feild ke pros and cons hote hai. But still we go for it due to our passion. So problem har jagah hai, this is what life is all about. It depends on us that how we tackle them and overcome all the obstacles. So just do what you love. Hardwork kabhi waste nai jata.
The point is everyone cannot become an Entrepreneur or join the core team...we are a huge population, how can everyone do what you are saying... atleast say something that's feasible

MBA ia loosing to more specialized skill. Time has change and a good number of jobs in past recruited through MBA graduate is replaced by data engineer, CA, user researcher, science graduate or people having knowledge or certification of using software tools. For traditional sales and marketing and HR MBA gradaute will be preffered but lots of other analyst job MBA will or already getting less prefferance. 2 years of break from Job for doing MBA is seen as disadvantge when you are using specialise software tools for your work. People have more chances of getting better salary by upskilling in same field.
If you run behind money like he is saying you will fail no matter what , just focus on gaining different knowledge , different skill sets , do what you are inspired for , do what you have passion in , if you want to do a job do it no matter what others say , just in the end remember nike's slogan Just Do It .

In Drop shipping you don't hold stock in hand you just recieve orders and supply the goods at added margin, the last example was of white labeling in which you hold stock and add value to it and then you sell product at higher price.

Fb ka starting development salary at junior level in india somewhere starts from 15-30LPA. Where as in US its close to 100k dollars a year. Aur ye bol raha hai ki 60k dollars a year indians ko dete hai. Maybe 1-2 candidates ko diya hoga package par ye thodi na average salary hogayi.

An Irresponsible video title.Everyone is entitled to an opinion but when a channel as big as this posts something it can set a narrative influencing a lot of people.2.5 lakh people appeared for CAT 2022 and 90000+ are appearing for XAT,for many of those this kind of content would not only be really demotivating but can also result creating self doubts for MBA aspirants.If you are not aware our country does have very good Non IIM mba colleges offering placements average in excess of 15LPA.If you became successful following a different way doesn't mean that the other one is bad.Please stop insulting Engineering and Management degrees and have a thought for students pursuing them and their parents paying for the same.Your view on MBA is your own but if you ask the same question "Is MBA bad" to every relevant guest on your show,thats just blatant ignorance to push your agenda across.

He is asking how many ppl get a job of minimum 5 lakhs who are from BA BCom and BBA background. I was hired by TATA on campus with 3.3 lakhs salary and which is what they are still currentl giving to engineering graduates.

@@rohangodse4182 Nope doesn't matter if your are CS or not the starting salary is 3.3 for everyone (all engineers with BE degree) unless ofcourse someone is from IIT, I was not from IIT but I was from a reputed college that's why Tata and other companies used to visit our campus.

Secondly TCS types companies still hires only regular college grads and they don't focuses on the skill set or willingness of other students who have cleared there graduation through correspondence ( any one have any problem) but these MNC's don't respect them.

I need the stuff this guys smoked before having this podcast 🙄.. who said that graduate are not getting jobs......there are more than thousand of opportunities lying all over the country...the main thing that matters is that we are not having the skill set that requires to do get the job and that's where's the actual problem is.....

Please could you post a video on government job or corporate? Which one in the long run proves out to be better considering all the aspects salary,name,fame,fun,connections,friends,foreign tour,assets,reliability,skills,enjoying a job as I know in the corporates you face a lot of daily new challenges which makes it challenging as well as interesting but I don't know if its also the same in the case of government jobs.
Obviously it's not the same in govt. jobs...... most of the colleagues are lazy elderly people and undeserving reserved class people......good luck having fun filling excel sheets with 60k max salary
