The examination for the Diploma in Immediate Medical Care (DIMC) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is designed to test the knowledge, skills and behaviours of pre-hospital emergency care practitioners.
This webinar will cover when and how to apply for the exam, how to prepare for the SBA & OSPE, and provide top tips to help you pass the exam first time.
Biography:
I am a substantive consultant in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the East Midlands. For the past three and a half years, I have volunteered with the West Midlands CARE and in November this year, I will embark on a 12-month fellowship as a HEMS Doctor with The Air Ambulance Service. I’m passionate about Medical Education and instruct on ALS, EPALS, APEx and the ETC. I sat the Diploma in Immediate Medical Care in January 2023 to progress with my continuing professional development in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine.
