Ingredients
1 ½ pounds Little potatoes (halved)
¼ cup melted salted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon seasoning salt
⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat grill to around 400 degrees F or medium-high.
Spray a large sheet of tin foil (double it up if you aren't using heavy duty foil) with non stick spray. Place potatoes in center of foil and lift the edges slightly (so that the butter doesn't run out)
Stir together melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, seasoning salt and pepper. Pour over potatoes and stir gently.
Seal foil around potatoes as much as possible. Place on the grill on direct heat, and cook for 20-25 minutes, until tender, stirring once or twice.
Hi, easy Peezy… Just what I love! Perfect time of the year for these since a lot of us are grilling in the summer. Thanks for sharing… I’m going to try those. Enjoy your week, Dolores 🥰
Thanks!
Quick and to the point. Thank you
this is great!!!!! Im so exicted to try
Thank you for the informative video! I cut up a russet potato into bite size pieces, added butter, salt, pepper, garlic salt and another seasoning and they were the best tasting potatoes I ever prepared, moist and tasty! Maybe it was because I used a russet potato, but the cooking time was a little over an hour, but so what? Well worth it!
Did you do them on the grill or in the oven? They can take a little longer on the grill because the temperature is a bit more hit and miss.
@@TheRecipeRebel Sorry I didn't specify, but I cooked them in the oven. Haven't had a chance to try grilling the potatoes on the Weber Kettle grill yet. Thanks for the video and informing me that they'd take longer on the grill.
@@69FOSTER Thanks for sharing!
Easy Peezy is exactly what I was thinking. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure!
How long on the grill?
Boil them first bcos even after 40 mins..they trash
That grill was never lit. 😂😂😂😂
😂😂 Just cause you can't see something doesn't mean it's not there 🙄
These aren't going to be tender after 20-25 minutes. They're raw hard potatoes. You have to boil them first.
Halved baby potatoes take exactly 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees.
@@TheRecipeRebel Nope. I just did it. Halved baby potatoes at 240C took 50 minutes. At 25 minutes they were still hard.
I would invest in an oven thermometer
@@TheRecipeRebel I have one. Not only the dial that you set, but a screen that shows the temp inside. I also have a digital probe thermometer that you insert in the food. Boiling first takes around 15-20 minutes to get to the cooking stage so its just easier to keep them in the oven for 50 minutes. 20-25 minutes at 240c which is 460F is definitely not enough time for soft cooked potatoes cooked in foil.
@@ironmaiden5658 🤷🏼♀All I can say is those are some tough potatoes you've got there
These small potatoes don’t need to be boiled
