"Being young is expensive" is how I remember that time when I was young and never had the money I needed. But I still managed to save, and today I would say "Being older is when I need very few new things and don't worry about money". I hope your plan works out as well as mine did 🤩
Maddy I thought I was the only one that thought of cost per wear! I've been doing this as a student and even now with my full time job I continue to do it. I find that's one of the BIGGEST tip when it comes to saving money, but also getting a better looking/more concise wardrobe to fit your style
I appreciate how this influencer is always respectful and kind to their audience and peers, which is a quality that is often lacking in the influencer world.
Hey! Fellow londoner here. Love that you film outdoors - such a nice touch, and definitely nicer than a plain indoor background haha! I'll definitely say "heyyyyy Macerly" whenever I bump into you - something that can tooootally happen sometime soon! x ❣️
Hi Maddy! Thanks for the tips! Would you be able to do a video of what your wardrobe looks like? It would be great to see what it’s like to have a minimal wardrobe!
Great tip with cost per wear mindset for buying clothes! Especially when you're young! Looking back clothes shopping wasted too much over the years for me I think! 🤦♀️🤷♀️🤣👍...
I ride a 2000 dollar e bicycle to keep miles off my cars Saves me a ton of money I vape weed no longer smoke it Saves me a ton of money I cook my own food because I’m actually good at it Saves me a ton of money Single no kids saves me a ton of money too I wear hoka shoes I am with cricket and have two iPhones 50 dollars a month I pay cash for everything Eating organic saves me time and money as well I watch movies at home I only spend money if it helps me get to the next levels in life and build my lifestyle Otherwise I keep my money Oh I obviously buy stocks and invest lol
Considering I’m working 8+ hours every day (including most weekends) managing 6 different accounts on social media, I rent an office, and even have an employee (that I pay myself through my company) helping me out, I would say being an “influencer” is as real of a graduate job as any. ❤️
My tip for saving money is don't ever live in London. There are plenty of amazing places in the world to live but London is not one of them, it's just too expensive and the salaries are too low. When you compare the costs of living in different cities you have to take into account the salaries. There are a few other cities that are almost as expensive as London but they have much higher salaries. Try, Berlin or Amsterdam, or if you want somewhere quiet Zurich, but just don't live in London.
Berlin, Amsterdam and Zurich are all equally as expensive as London, maybe even more so. This is terrible advice. There are thousands of cheap cities in Europe and none of them are the ones you listed 🤦🏼♀️
@@k7450 Wrong Zurich has about the same costs for housing as London but the salaries are about 4 times higher. (I lived there for 6 years). Amsterdam and Berlin are much cheaper. The centre of Amsterdam costs a tiny fraction of what London does for accommodation. Amsterdam is also a much smaller city so it's very easy to find very cheap accommodation on the edge although the salaries are a little bit lower the difference doesn't balance out Amsterdam is much more affordable than London. (I lived in Amsterdam for 2 years). People in Berlin complain that accommodation is expensive but they are only comparing what it use to cost years ago when all of Berlin lived in poverty. The prices have risen a lot over the years but it still does not come close to London prices. The salaries are a little lower than London but again it doesn't balance out Berlin is much more affordable than London. (I lived in Berlin for 3 years). I mentioned the cities I know well because I lived in them for a few years.
Maddy how we wish US women your age were as calm and happy self assured and basically decent as you and likely most Norwegian folks 😊. Ps. Please move to California. we need you 🙏🙏

Or maybe a smaller town near London, so you could work in London and go back home on the same day.
