Wow, a single person earning the minimum wage might be living in the same city but in fact is living in a different dimension. I applaud your ability to take such good care of yourself but also your honesty and cheerfulness. Your parents must be proud :)
nearly 3k spending is minimum wage???????? bro here its 1500 here in austria what you even get to use without bills if ya pay ya bills ya have maybe 200 left dor yourself and groceries
Really appreciate the candid take; a lot of videos don't use a normal day/week/month in their life, and also pretend to be more frugal than they really are.
Hello Marcerly can you give an email to you to discuss a feature as the people you hired at Sixteenth do not know what they're doing, no surprises there for PR people in the UK, you may not know as you are so young! Don't want them representing you as they put you in a bad light by association
Can you make a video about how you stay consistent as a content creator, like what a work week looks like? What’s your process, especially for people just starting? With content, filming and scheduling and what your actual work/ life balance looks like?
I’m 23 too and living in London super interesting to see how other people’s finances look and the overlaps/differences. I think my biggest money saver is that I am not a big fan of eating out. Well done to you!
I love this format of video, plus you made it so simple, straight forward and easy to understand. Especially for someone who has no idea about London. Looking forward to more videos, probably about stocks shares and investments. I want to invest in stocks as a 23 year old... But I need some guidance. Thanks for the video!
Hi, I really enjoy watching your type of content. I was just wondering if there was a content creator similar to you in Norway. That would be really helpful to watch for someone like me who recently moved to Norway. Again, I wanted to say that I enjoy all your videos, especially the financial literacy ones where you share all your money-saving tips. 🥰
Congrats of finding a zone 1 flat that cheap. My landlord is raising my ROOM rent to 1250/month for a delapitated flat in east zone 2. The cost of rent is absolutely crazy.
Is it possible to make a video about your favorite cafes and restaurants in London? I am planning to go on vacation to London and want to get to know this city with recommendations by locals ❤
I absolutely lovedddd this video 🦋 I’m also in central London and needed to hear that the spending here is similar to others and I’m not missing any loopholes
Love your videos! Just discovered them ❤ it’s so funny how the things change between big cities but the overall stays very similar. I live in NYC and make very middle class money. I spent $700 on rent and bills (my half) because I’m super lucky to have a rent stabilized lease, so that’s a lot less than you, but I spend about $700 monthly on food and I watch what I buy - and that’s also just half!
ha ha I was just about to write I paid 1100 in 2003 for a wonderful studio in Angel N1. A quick google check showed one in a similar location for 1900.
It's realistic expenses for someone living in a large city. Rents are never cheap in such places. What I do is a fixed amount saved for the holidays planed for that year. Depending on the destinations, it'is like 300 to 500 pounds every month.
I liked this video, i really liked your honesty about what you do for a living and how you need to have a nice looking home to create content which in turn makes you money, you have to spend money to make money. I love London as a holiday destination, but I don't think that I could live there, it's to grey and cold for me, i grew up in sunny South Africa 😊 and I struggle with winter. I have been living in Porto, Portugal for the past 5 years and it is so cheap in comparison to London, and the weather is better 😂, marginally.
London actually seems shockingly cheap for living expenses when you compare it to random parts of the US. You can spend that much on rent in rural Indiana.
Due to the nature of her job, it just makes sense to live in central London in Zone 1 - but it’s hella expensive. I've lived in London Zone 3 my whole life and there are still so many cool things to do nearby, great restaurants and cafes, and it takes me 25 mins on the tube to get to the centre. I have rented 120sqm 4 bedroom houses with my boyfriend and another couple friend for £500-600/month each. If I wanted to live in 1 bedroom maisonette with only my boyfriend, like her but in Zone 3 it would be about £800-1000 each. So yes, prices are bad in London but you can achieve cheaper than her flat (which is super lovely and goals).
thank you for your video ! it really gave me some good ideas about how to budget in this city. can you plz tell where did you get your dinning chairs from?
She always wanted to live abroad and London was a great option. Since she had family there too. Close to Norway. University she able to get a scholarship from Norway government. She said in a recent video with Jade Casual Magic Podcast.
Woww I find these videos fascinating especially for full time content creators who are not earning. I am always amazed how they can afford to drink coffee, eat out , buy so much groceries and delivery services etc etc. I work full time in the City.. live in Zone 6 don't need to pay rent and even then I can't afford to do anything except buy basic groceries and pay the bills. I have one subscription for Netflix but that's going as I cannot afford it anymore/ Cannot remember the last time I ate out. I think it was before the Pandemic and the only time I ever take a taxi is when I have to go to the airport at 4 am when the public transport is not running/ How do you do this on little to no income? How much as Theo supporting you?
@@AthynVixen i agree re the mad spending...however...in uk..culture wise... it is never appropriate to ask someone what they earn... in France for instance, it is very normal to share salaries...but not in the uk.. tends to be very private...
