Great music made an excellent presentation even more interesting and enjoyable!
This tutorial crosses over to other areas of crafting and even for around the home. The better-half is an lifelong crafter and took notes while watching this with me.
Imagine the fireplace mantel that could be created with minimal relief work and using this method of adding color.

Beautiful job but the box looks like something salvaged from a sunken Spanish galleon! Ammunition boxes -- both Allied and Axis -- were made from the least expensive and durable type of wood. They seldom aged. Sent to the front lines and nearly used immediately. When time permitted, the empty boxes often became a source of fuel for warming fires in cold climates or cooking fires for a field kitchen. There was little -- if any -- recycling back in WWII! Thank you for the detailed demonstration.

One small comment… the small cross members at each end of the box… the grain should run the long length of these small pieces of wood so they are at a 90 degree angle to the main boards that make up the ammo box. Enjoyed watching the weathering technique.

If this guy does this much detail on a box, I would love to see one of his dioramas :D

Those ammo crates should look brand new. I never saw an ammo crate used for anything other than firewood when they were emptied.

Great work, but they look too weathered. if those are new boxes with live rounds in them would they be that weathered? I feel ordinance would be covered from thr weather as much as possible. when i paint my ammo boxes i do light to no weathering. Noe if they are empty boxes that have been exposed to the elements for some time then this type of weathering would apply. just a thought. nice work

Awesome work. Only one question. Why use a drying retardant, then use a hair dryer to speed it up? Isn't that an inverse dichotomy? Seriously, please explain.....

Hello, this is LeiXU, the author of the vedio tutorials, thank you for your questions, adding AK 737 retardant has 3 main reasons, the first, make airbrush process smooth without worrying the clogging on airbrush tip(you know many people has difficulty of aibrush acrylics because of this). The second, by this way you can airbrush meticulously, such as the very fine strip or camouflage pattern. the last, it will make the painting film in good quality.

Nice job but way too much time consuming ...if one add 30 or 40 of these pieces it would take one month to get them ready.

I really do enjoy watching and using your products but when you show videos with just the captions below do you really think that your subscribers will be able to take in everything your trying to describe in such a short amount of time . especially when your adding and mixing different combinations and then you set it up as it would be a recipie of some sort . the caption is displayed not eveen long enough to study what your discribing . im sorry to be disappointing.

Waaaaaaaaay over-engineered. There are ways to do this by hand in just a few minutes.
