    A few things...
    1. Great new product.
    2. Great video.
    3. The guitar sound in the background should be edited out.
    4. A real person narrating is better.
    5. What will the price in USD be for the deluxe set?
    Thanks!

    Mr AK can you remove it with water/thinner if you dont like the effect you recived or did an accident? Are these water based? Or is it enamel thinner you dip it in?

    • @alexthibodeau979
      @alexthibodeau979 2 роки тому

      If you have applied it dry, it can be removed with an eraser. I believe you can remove it with water as long as you don't put too much on or wait too long. They only require water and nothing else special to use. I really love using these for streaking effects. I recommend the weathering and chipping set!

    How do the pencils work with washes and filters(oils)? I paint with acrylics and then apply filters and then a pin wash. Would I use the pencils for effect after the Oils?

  • @lovindablues
    @lovindablues 2 роки тому

    I purchased these pencils but have a dumb question--How do you sharpen them? I have used a small hand-held sharpener where you twist the pencil and as it rotates across a single blade, it gets sharpened. However, every time I twist these color pencil, I feel the color core break higher on the pencil and I am left with a much shorter pencil which still isn't sharp. Help!!!

    • @AKInteractiveOfficial
      @AKInteractiveOfficial  2 роки тому +1

      The tip of the pencil allows you to apply the effects more precisely. Applying it along with other techniques, like oils, can take your model to another level!

      @@AKInteractiveOfficial Isn't that what a fine brush can do as well? The pencils to me will need constant sharpening to keep their fine tips, which ends up with a lot of wasted product, when you could just use a brush with oils

    I've noticed with washes that when I try to seal them they will dissolve a bit again, sometimes resulting in a nice random effect, sometimes not so. Do you guys never seal these kind of weathering or maybe use extremely thin layers of gloss or matte?

    I bought your pencil set, knowing there were these tutorials out there.
    I'm sorry to say, but these really, really need to be re-done.
    1. Where on earth do you get off using a computer voice?! I mean... *insert emoticon with nuclear explosion coming out of head*.
    2. You don't show which pencils you are using half the time.
    3. Instead of having a computer say which 'segment' you are one, why not let the words appear on the screen?
    4. Some parts of the video are longer (sufficient), others are only very brief.
    5. I see which colours you are using, but not exactly how it is done; i.e. I don't get these results when I draw a line on my model (I hardly see it, in fact). What is the reason of that? I regularly have to re-wet my pencils, they barely leave traces... you hardly seem to. Why is that? Is that because mine come straight out of the box? If so, you may want to mention that, because I imagine a lot of people are watching this because they bought your pencils and want to learn how to use them.
    So for me, a big thumbs down on this video. If you make a product like this, you do simply have to make these videos so that someone can learn how to use it; and you have to be really good with these people, because for many of them this is a very daunting experience.
    Seriously, a computerized voice? Guys... come on!
    O, and seriously get rid of that incredibly annoying music.
    This is like video making 101 that I do with my grade 7 class.
