FNAF 1 is described as a Summer Job in it's Steam Description, despite the game being set in November. FNAF 2 is also set in November and called a Summer Job. So either there's a double paradox, OR Scott is just using a a different definition of Summer Job. He's using it to mean 'Temp Job', which is very common in many dialects of English, especially Southern and Texan dialects(they call all Soda/Pop 'Coke' too). It was also more common back in the day, Scott is older than most FNAF fans. This wasn't a clue or a mistake, it's just Scott using his dialect term for Temp Job and not realizing it would cause an issue until too late as people only noticed this in FNAF 3 era.
"was it fall or was it summer" is also something mr. Hippo specfically calls out as a detail to not read too much into. As compelling as the multiple openings is becoming to me, that element remains
For those watching later... The chat discussion about summer jobs is that in Texas, where Scott is from, a Summer Job is used interchangeably with a Temp Job, as supported by the Fnaf 1 game description. Therefore, Fnaf 2's location wasn't necessarily open during the Summer. I was not one to point this out on stream.
What if the children are really Missing? Meaning that the bodies were never found by police, yes, but that they are not physically in the building? What if "missing" is suppose to be the big, important term here that tells us the most important part; that they are not there at all; that the smells and ooze are all haunting manifestations? The children were killed, the puppet then assigned each of them to a mascot and though the bodies are now gone, the spirits remain?
58:30 Part of ready player two is that a girl gets trapped inside a Freddy's play tubes, but because she's in foster care, all the adults assume she ran away. Its plausible that some of the mci kids were already in vunlerable situations socially speaking, even if that isn't likely what midnight motorist is about anymore. 1:04:25 in the week before, Ralph acts like the location *just* reopened, but he also says that its a shame the designers put all this work into pirate's cove, only for Foxy to be out of order since the reopening. Which sounds to me like the fnaf1 location opened, everyone got repaired, then it closed again for a bit and came back sans foxy. Edit: these feels relevant to your conversation about two periods in the fnaf2 location. The idea of extra closings feels kind of precedented from the week before. 1:15:06 The urge of kids to draw fnaf fanart transcends time and space (reminds me of the story where a younger social worker checked up on a kid whom their collegues was worried about being abused because they kept drawing "monsters", and it was just Freddy Fazbear. That's like an anti-frights story.)
Shadow freddy could be a vengeful good guy: -He doesn't harm anyone in 2 -His actions in 3 directly lead to william getting springlocked -If he's the reason michael goes through 4 it could be to get revenge over what he did to crying child -He clearly enjoys torturing william in ucn So shadow freddy could very well be the vengeful agony creature of one of the kids while shadow bonnie more directly helps the kids by contributing to the happiest day minigames Crying child's memories affect reality and we see two examples in fnaf 2 He sees a broken toy foxy and this leads to the kids who interacted with the real toy foxy to break them apart too He sees a toy chica figure withouth her beak and this leads to the real toy chica to also remove it And we know this isn't how they were built, fnaf 2 makes it clear that toy foxy was broken by children It's either a massive coincide in a game that scott claimed had no meaningless details, dream theory which scott has mocked at various points and is most likely not canon or we are meant to see that crying child's memories affected reality when he died and shattered His memory of pigtails girl could also be what led william to design baby like her but it could also be that pigtails girl is elizabeth Fnaf world is crying child's happiest day while the fnaf 3 happiest day is cassidy's Some people like to use the fact that it's a mirrored version of crying child's birthday to say otherwise but if you'll notice crying child's counterpart is charlie, not fredbear Charlie is in between cassidy and the other four while crying child is "in between" fredbear and michael and his friends The yellow eyes dialogue from fnaf world reads to me more like crying child is expected to help out with the happiest day minigames rather than be freed by them unless i'm remembering wrong And if he does help out that would be why charlie is positioned as his counterpart Also, according to some people in chat, "summer job" is just texan slang for a temporary job so fnaf 1 and 2 aren't literally summer jobs And finally: Go read madesuki's network theory and their whole blog while you're at it
Follow Me takes place in a run-down FNaF1 building with the animatronics but not the puppet. Even if we ignore the fact that William is active during FNaF2, this would still mean FM takes place after the FNaF2 location closes. The question is then whether it takes place before FNaF1, when they have plans to re-open, or after FNaF1 closes. It can't be before FNaF1, because the first thing they would have done, before putting the band on stage, would be to renovate the building, so it must take place after FNaF1.
The swan princess song is alluding to Princess Quests main character, Cassidy. She got thrown into the lake while inside the FredBear (golden freddy) suit and spring locked as she drowned, transforming into the vengeful spirit. Maybe “getting the prince” is freeing the crying child? The big trees are references to the tree by the graves. The lake is by the dirt mound where the crying childs corpse is buried, and the souls are bound together or become connected, and then the log book etc etc.
I think Toy Foxy is not Funtime Foxy; I think William Afton specifically designed Toy Foxy (and went with a 'clown' theme) and it not being respected by the children (becoming the Mangle) is representative of Afton's designs not being appreciated / liked. When Afton then gets kicked out of Fazbear and has to become a sub-contractor via his own small company, he doubles down on the Clown-theme for all the funtimes. I would argue that Henry's designs are all "country fair" themed folksy characters and Afton's designs are all "magical circus" themed. Afton prefers Purple, Pinks, Blues and White. He likes "clean" and "sleek" designs with a clockwork (music box) element. Afton goes for a "magical" or "celestial" theme and Henry is going for Bier Rabbit / Country Fair / Billy Bob Bear. I think these themes are not as obvious in the first three games, but I think SL's funtimes were meant to "cement" this idea that Scott was already hinting at.
Also the FNaF 2 drawings could've just been reused, before you bring up mangle there's a mangle toy in Elizabeth's room in FNaF 4, i do believe it was definitely the unwithereds however but i don't think Scott put in that much effort to give Drawings lore meaning especially not in FNaF 2 era
Lefty DCI isn’t possible because 5 DCI plus puppet is 6. Then Lefty would be $6, salvage $6k, and 6 swirls on the office drawing. However, GIBI released a video a while back about how it’s possible that Charlotte/Puppet was an MCI victim. MCI is 1985, DCI is 1987, but all of 14 theory shows that 14 correlates to Golden Freddy, so that implies GF dies past. Ergo, GF is not MCI, but Puppet is. This means Lefty holds the MCI.
1:46:20 or...you know kids can be stupid and just draw the "toy" characters as the characters. Because they are called "Freddy", "Bonny" and "Chica" because that's who they are. And the reason "Foxy"(new redesigned version because Mangle is a name came up by the staff) is the only one drawn is because ther is the only different looking one. ........guys come on. ....and then u literally say it like 5 seconds later. God damn it
I like that these guys noticed that freddy has two ears before they noticed that bonny has a face

Props to Kalkuttadrop
“It’s a Texan thing”
Scott lives in Texas 😨

1:51:45 Hey!! You found me!
58:30 Part of ready player two is that a girl gets trapped inside a Freddy's play tubes, but because she's in foster care, all the adults assume she ran away. Its plausible that some of the mci kids were already in vunlerable situations socially speaking, even if that isn't likely what midnight motorist is about anymore.

you probably heard that before but everytime you spoke I saw nothing but Charlie (penguinz0) overanalyzing fnaf lol
Shadow freddy could be a vengeful good guy:
-He doesn't harm anyone in 2
-His actions in 3 directly lead to william getting springlocked
-If he's the reason michael goes through 4 it could be to get revenge over what he did to crying child
-He clearly enjoys torturing william in ucn
So shadow freddy could very well be the vengeful agony creature of one of the kids while shadow bonnie more directly helps the kids by contributing to the happiest day minigames
Crying child's memories affect reality and we see two examples in fnaf 2
He sees a broken toy foxy and this leads to the kids who interacted with the real toy foxy to break them apart too
He sees a toy chica figure withouth her beak and this leads to the real toy chica to also remove it
And we know this isn't how they were built, fnaf 2 makes it clear that toy foxy was broken by children
It's either a massive coincide in a game that scott claimed had no meaningless details, dream theory which scott has mocked at various points and is most likely not canon or we are meant to see that crying child's memories affected reality when he died and shattered
His memory of pigtails girl could also be what led william to design baby like her but it could also be that pigtails girl is elizabeth
Fnaf world is crying child's happiest day while the fnaf 3 happiest day is cassidy's
Some people like to use the fact that it's a mirrored version of crying child's birthday to say otherwise but if you'll notice crying child's counterpart is charlie, not fredbear
Charlie is in between cassidy and the other four while crying child is "in between" fredbear and michael and his friends
The yellow eyes dialogue from fnaf world reads to me more like crying child is expected to help out with the happiest day minigames rather than be freed by them unless i'm remembering wrong
And if he does help out that would be why charlie is positioned as his counterpart
Also, according to some people in chat, "summer job" is just texan slang for a temporary job so fnaf 1 and 2 aren't literally summer jobs

Only issue I have is that mound is bigger than the trees and car
@ true, I forgot about that in FLAF. We’ll have to see how canon / approved by scott it is later on :”)
@ true, though given the Murray Co. teaser being approved by Scott- it seems he’s giving them the lore to put in the game
3:39:00 puppet is doing the same thing golden Freddy did in Fnaf 1. It’s a projection of the puppets past “unwithered” version from Fnaf 2.

Can you repeat everything you said because you lost me in fnaf 2 and i kinda blacked out in fnaf 3.
3:48:32 the reverse phone guy call confirms dream theory is bunko
The FNaF 1 paycheck says November, not summer....
Just sayin...
Nice.

The fact the toy bonnie is indigo in save them supports that the drawings could include the toys
@koolaid2721 i guess also I'm pretty drawing mangle is missing her cheeks

Dang I just missed it
It says streamed 4 hours ago, it's 4 hours long. Did I miss something?
Steam just ended. It lists "streamed x hours ago" from when the stream starts
