@@cur244 I absolutely love it here. Not planning on moving anytime soon. The people are nice if not a little paranoid. NM natives are really generous and kind but you can sense the educational issues that effect the lower income people here (not meant to be offensive at all). Drivers are a little crazy so if you plan on walking or biking use caution - but don't let it stop you I love biking around the city. And of course there's a lot of homeless people but for the most part you can avoid them going about your day if you prefer. Let me know if you have more questions, but yeah I've really enjoyed living here overall.
@@bmo9881 I doubt I'd go into the city much unless there's a cool festival, restaurant or show. I work from home. The weather, cost of living and outdoor activities have me really interested. The problem is I know absolutely nobody there. It seems like the best western state in terms of weather and cost of living. I do worry about the crime some, but I'd likely be living in more of the suburbs. I'm from the southeast so I wonder if the lack of green would bother me. The dry climate sounds amazing though. Thanks for the help!
I'm an international student and I'm going to study at UNM this year, this video helped me get to know the environment and urban structure of the city, so beautiful, the colours give a kinda fantasy, cartoony looking theme to each building , I also like that it's conspicuously very clean looking, but I expected a larger crowd hanging out in those streets tbh
Keep in mind this video was made during the height of the pandemic. Also, it only shows the downtown area west of I-25. UNM is several miles east of this area. To me, the UNM area is much nicer than downtown.
usually cities in north of mexico and south of the u.s. look like these, almost empty because of the extreme heat, nobody wants to spend time outside untill sun goes down
Take me to the sketchy places. That would be an honest representation along with this video. Could probably save some lives as they would have spatial awareness
Just that video alone… would at least allow the proper vulnerability to the unaware and impoverished communities. If you actually want to help your economy and the city’s presence- likely need to include an representation of the Reddit forums. The stigma and miscommunication only keeps y’all more stuck.
No interaction- just walking in these areas and how you would take the proper paths to respect another’s space and mentality. Maybe you’re just showing the beauty of the city- and my god is there a lot but you’re not being fair to people that want to move here nor to misrepresented communities. This is a big OL awkward ew if this was your intent. You’d probably get a lot more views, and respect if you allowed this to be more feasible. Actually useful… great video handling and quality. Looks like you might have done some color grading as well. Superb skills my guy… it’s almost there.

I'm not out to criticize, but assist you in making better videos...there are probably hundreds of thousands of people like me that are treadmill walkers and we are always looking out for new walking videos. There are many UA-camrs out there that make excellent walking videos with the treadmill walkers in mind...Watched Walker, Prowalk Tours, Hong Kong Walks, Wind Walk Travel to name a few. A great example of a UA-camr who styles his videos for treadmill walkers is Virtual Walk Waikiki Hawaii; his videos warn or eliminates panning...there's nothing worse than being on a treadmill and the video pans, especially if it's done quickly, that throws someone on a treadmill off balance, especially if you're watching on a huge screen tv or monitor. There aren't many youtubers that will pull up a walking video, just to sit and watch it, but you'll get a ton more viewers from treadmill walkers looking for a great walking video, especially an urban street walking video, as long as it does not make them dizzy from panning back and forth or a crowded, stop and go video...if you want to pan to capture something, stop, pan, then pan back, then start walking again. Thanks for your video; I love Albuquerque, especially the balloon fiesta.
Great advice thanks I haven't seen any of those channels that you mentioned im gonna pay more attention for now on with my pans and audio is not the great either
Looks fairly clean and all the colors are awesome!
