It’s more of an excuse for not having money to finish an actual build. Putting in an uglier barely newer front end is no build
The gas cap interfered with the fuel door because the 2014 doesn't use a gas cap at all.
I like the cap less configuration better.
@@residentevil2928 Least till ou get water in your fuel. Ive gone through deep water in many vehicles. Of course gutted. Gas caps are best
I tried to add fuel to my 2010 the other day because I had a gas can with some in it, and it wouldn’t even open the hole. Needless to say, gas caps for the win. What’s gonna happen if you run out of gas and try to use a gas can?
Kr Davey they come with a funnel for that exact reason. If you bought it used and it didn’t come with one I’m sure eBay or amazon will help you out
@@GI-rt7ol Ibe never seen a gas can or vehicle come with a funnel for such reasons. If anything, its the annoying safty switch bullsgit that causes more fuel to be spilled than into the tank. To which is why i drill out the nosel of the new gas cans...

I’m glad you mentioned that cutting was involved. I wouldn’t have figured that out until it was too late
Doing this conversion now. Literally took 5 minutes to cut both sides and the slots should be about 15 to 20 minutes for the lights. An angle grinder will knock it out and Home Depot rents them cheap also Harbor Freight if you have them in your area. Also the ultimate easy way out borrow one from a friend. My 08 is outdated and needs an engine overhaul or replacement so it's worth it in my scenario.
That core support is magnesium f150 250 350 from 04 to present day. Made Eaton rapids mi.
Believe it or not that's core support is called mrs then there was 415 till 2013 14+ is the 552. We sell 17k a week only f150

Ford doesn't use separate turn/brake lights on those tail lights. Both bulbs are the brake/turn signals like my 2013
Both top and bottom are brake and turn on the new lights.
Gas cap is hitting because the ‘14 has a cap less system. You could get a filler neck out of a ‘13 or ‘14 and you’d be good to go.
Can't swap the front doors though lol the 10 up body is nearly 8inches larger than the 04 to 07 and once you notice it they look tiny so you can't do a complete swap with door panels unless it's extened cab those didn't change size
You should have done a raptor conversion. That way you keep with the wide body off road look you did on the old body.
Just ran into the rear axle swap issue with the discontinued FL3Z-4010-C rear end that came in my 2007. had to end up looking for the e-locked 8.8 out of a 2015 turbo model. Shock mount spacing was identical and the spring perches are non welded to the tubes. Not a single salvage yard in 3 states had a single 99 or newer 150. Was a bit of a pain in the ass.

This is a great video man! Im getting a 05 F150 then I want to do the gen 1 raptor conversion with the fiberwerx front kit. Did you have to modify anything on the new bed? I think it might be easier to get a new style one then to try messing with the original haha.

I have a 04 4wd expedition, since about 010 I've been wanting to lift it and put some of the newer F150 front clip on it.
I'm seeing some difference around the A pillar first off
And put a solid rear axle.

Dont really like it but the truck is light and we didnt tow with it and I went with a good brand. I never had a issue with it
Could you also use the raptor fenders and bed for this conversion I believe the 2010 raptor is built up from the 05-09 body. I'm planning on doing this conversion but if I can use the raptor style then I'll go for it as I love the look of them.

Chepo Aguirre if your asking these questions then you need to find a shop to do the work for you buddy. It’s not a hard conversion at all but you do need a little bit of common sense about trucks and have basic mechanical ability or your gonna fuc yourself up real good and then you’ll get frustrated and sell it on Craigslist to some kid that doesn’t know any better and you’ll end up fucn him and it just ain’t right, seen it happen a hundred times man
The cab size doesn't matter... The beds to my knowledge from 04-14 come in 5.5ft, 6.5ft and 7ft lengths I believe... you can't take a 5.5ft bed off a 2014 and put it on a 2004 that originally had a 6.5ft or 7ft bed. It wouldn't work.

Hey man i need some info. How hard would it be to get the dash/body harness/ climate controls and everything from 12th gen f150 into and 11th gen 07 4.6 rwd supercab. I want the sat nav unit from kayhan and they only have them for the 12th gen and i want to keep my truck like you its paid off and runs strong just want digital climate and all other options with 12th gen dash. Sorry for the long post but what really appreciate if you or anyone else on the comments could help me out and thank you ahead of time.

How did you install the bumper? If I left the top bumper insert on my 2007 alone could I fab up something to replace the chrome bumper underneath with a 2009-2014?
Did you trim the stock mounting plates from the older en or did you buy on a from the new gen and fab those on?
I used the whole piece the plastic and the metal bumper off of a 2014 don't think you can use the old plastic I used the same bumper mounts off of the 05 and made extended brackets with longer bolts to hold it in place

No I think the body is way different

Have the diesel brothers/sparks motors do this for you. That is if u live in Texas (or whatever state sparks motors is in).

Surprisingly it did because the new owner will now have to explain to them what kind of truck it is at the DMV and if any modifications have been done to it! It’s gonna be a hard one to keep selling to people out there knowing that it’s a early 2000’s ford truck looking like a 2011 or something but the vin don’t lie

Did you haft to change your radiator core support?
No some people do to provide a mount for the lights. Part of the light goes into the fender and then there's 2 tabs. This guy however simply made brackets that serves the same purpose. Way less money.
