Happy to be of help. In case you're having trouble finding some decent fenders they're the same from 2003-2014 so it should make it easier when looking for parts.
As far as I'm aware you do have to replace the hood with the appropriate Expedition hood. I'm planning on going to the junkyard sometime next week if you'd like I can try it out and let you know.
@@4l.al3x no problem at all my guy. They look similar but I'm pretty sure that the body lines don't match up since the 97-03 have a bit of a curve to them and the 03+ Expeditions are a bit more square.
I actually just swapped out the mirrors 3 days ago. Found someone selling brand new tow mirrors for $40 and since I tow a trailer with my truck I went for it. If you're interested in doing the Expedition mirrors you can only do it with a super crew cab if yours is a single or extended/crew cab then I think that you can modify the base but it's easier to order new ones from eBay/Amazon.
Here's a full list in case you need it brother. 2003-2014 fenders Hood Header panel Upper/lower grill Headlights Fog lights Bumper Bumper support Optional are the hood hinges and hood struts. As for the windshield washer sprayer you can either drill holes into the new hood and reuse old hardware or buy the 2003-2014 cowl panel that relocates the sprayers.
This is actually cool as fck though, post more on the truck because I kinda want to do this with my 01 but im not too sure about the costs or what obstacles I might run Into
Honestly I got lucky with my swap. I found someone parting out their Expedition and he gave me the entire front end for $200 then I sold my stock F-150 front end for $300 😂😂 Honestly doing the swap is pretty straightforward and the only hard part is the bumper reinforcement bar which I guess you don't have to install but in an accident you'll wish that you had it.
Bro thank you so much for this video. I have been wanting to do this swap

Is the hood necessary? The hoods look the same to me. I don’t really want to get ride of my hood it has 2 vents on it and I like the way it looks

@@FranksShitBoxCollection I would appreciate it bro. From pictures it looks like the hoods are identical

Do you know if a 06 f150 hood will bolt onto a 06 expedition?
Now all you need to do is swap the expedition mirrors.

What did you do with the egr vacuum box underneath the passenger fender?
@@shrimpzilla9714 I just left it as is.
I appreciate the video. I've been considering doing this to my 10th gen f150 but have never found a clear list of what is needed
Same here. I had seen a video a while back but the guy never posted any updates and wasn't very clear about what exactly was needed.
