Damn this will be my second time quitting Outerplane. The first time was when they basically reset everything, and we had to get a star rating in dungeons with a turn limitation. I understand why they did it, 🎉but I didn't like it, and I don't like every time they release a new character its to fix something they made too OP in pvp. 2 stars are almost useless outside of make 2 or 3(outside of cliche uses), and I don't like how if you don't have certain 3 stars, you're screwed. Now, they changed pity, which is a horrible business practice
Yeah, I understand the concerns with 2-Star heroes but I feel they are bad in almost all games. Highest rarity characters are always going to be more relvant, as they should be since they are harder to get. Wish they answer regarding the bad changes they made, a lot of players are in the same boat as you
So they didn't address the mileage/event ticket/reduced ether situation at all? Wow, that's a real bummer. I'm kind of afraid to "invest" money in this game now. Who knows how long it'll stay around. The content update itself seems alright I guess. Too bad the elemental tower thing is just a one time reward thing though, I wish it rotated monthly, or maybe even every 2 weeks.
My concerns as well, I am not going to be spending anymore until I see positive changes. But I will still hold onto playing since the core game itself hasn’t changed
@@cypher4202 Yeah, I'll still be playing the game. For a little while at least. Hopefully it gets better. I'm still playing E7 as well. E7's future looks brighter than Outerplane right now. I do like Outerplane a lot though. Probably because of E7, but still, hehe.
This patch was kind of their last chance. I imagine when most people read the notes and find out that they are not mentioning mileage changes at all they just click uninstall and go find another game. It sucks because this was a mini anni event and they made it such a sour event rather than a anni. I wont be coming back to this game.
I'm just going to finish the season 2 story and then drop it, personally. I tend to eat stories slowly, but by the end of the year, I'll be done. Well, unless the hard mode doesn't have a story. Then I'll be done like next week or this weekend.
Exactly,I feel like they are starting to become like Lilith. I hope they stop doing things like this if they care about outerplane and fixing previous mistakes
Two 3 stars? I got one epsilon only) So this is smilegate tactics about this situation. Just keep silence about pity system in OP. It's worst thing they could do. I'm curiois, they just terrified with idea to talk with community after this or they decide to wait until everyone forget that they did
Pretty sure they are just trying to avoid the situation and hoping people forget but its not gonna work out for them in the end. Their reputation has taken a big hit
@@cypher4202 Yep, it never worked with every game. I'm absolutly sure, if they just talked with audience, asked how better rework system or just explained why they did it and will they change it to make it more frendly, they didn't pissed so many players. But this silence hits reputation more, then shitty update. So many games died exactly cause lost connection with community and keep quit about bad update decisions. And by now this is is exactly OP scenario
But at least we have "increased ticket numbers" right? Yeah,I'm out. For people who look for alternatives (can recommend it to even Cypher himself, because both game lacks content creators) : Path to Nowhere - The Good / unique: darker tone / horror..semi realistic art style..excellent stories (main story, character stories, event stories...good events.. requires maximum involvement in the fight and ponder about strategy..even "blue" character can be end game clearer, 1+ year old..quality did not drop. No shard system .The Bad : stingy with stamina after a while and hard to get dupes (but not necessary for smooth progression). Nowadays its pretty common so its not really a bad point but ..avoid standard banner and its pretty grindy mid/late game. Tower of God: New World - The Good : plenty of chance to pull, relatively fair in the current gacha world. Good story. Faster progression . Typical fantasy /genshin like theme. No stamina restriction or anything..if you play for 7 hours then you play for 7 hours. The Bad: immense amount of dupes needed to max out a character..10 for sure ( I myself don't know I never managed to fully max out anything but unless you are a min max wanna be on leaderboard person it won't be needed . Shard system is major part of the game. There are good and bad aspects but at the end of the day, there is something common in both. The Devs actually give a fuck.
They are trying to do this, because the game is dead sadly,it makes very little money. This was a last ditch effort to make some money, didnt work, its over.We probably see the shutdown notice in March at max.
last patch of the year will make or break this game.... poeple are on holiday and have more time so the devs should take advantage of that but seems like they just trying to milk the player base instead of build and grow it..... sigh....
Enjoy whatever game you go to dude. Hopefully you can like deliver those game developers kids and be the soul train they have food on the table. The game developers do not owe you or any other player a god damn thing. It didn't matter if you create content, or pay hundreds of thousands of dollars... they still don't owe you shit. It's smile gates game they can do what they want and even with the changes this is by far one of the most friendly F2P games I've ever played. Raid, Dragon Heir, Watcher of Realms, none of them are more free to play friendly. So if they change a little to make sure they get enough money to keep the game going then good for them. That was a very cringe and entitled first 2-3 minute rant followed by a weak "oh but I don't want you guys to boycott the game" wink wink... Might wanna work on how you word things and come off if you're scripting. If you're not scripting I might recommend it.
I refuse to believe you're an educated individual lol. Just read what you write - "Hopefully you can like deliver those game developers kids and be the soul train they have food on the table. The game developers do not owe you or any other player a god damn thing". And, your next sentence - "It didn't matter if you create content, or pay hundreds of thousands of dollars... they still don't owe you shit." So, even if the community pays them, they don't owe us shit or we are allowed to be stepped upon? You seem to be delusional af mate. Also, since when is giving your opinion being entitled? Get some help, and please do not watch my videos. My life would be better without replying to white knight filths like you.
Probally smile gate staff trying to defend their game lmao, just accept that op is bad, even b4 the nerf, crashes, no one playing op, after the mileage change, the game killed itself lmao

Enjoying black clover not sure if will be coming back
Sad man but honestly I would prefer OP over that game unless you absolutely love the IP
To be honest I love outerplane but it really sucks I can seem to shake the feeling of betrayal, I won’t delete it but for now I will be having a break
Gurl thank god they release Stella banner l so hard to get into 10 episode hard mode 😢😢
I dropped dislyte few months ago too

Yeah and this weird since they were mostly on the right track before these mileage ticket changes
