4 years later : I was mowing my lawn today with this mower for about the hundredth time and thought i should give my viewers an update. My sons and i have used this to mow my lawn (which is about an acre ) for 4 years . Last week my younger son mowed it for the first time this year - it was like a hay field; i had let it go WAY too long. I told him to give it a try but i figured the mower would bog out ; my plan was to get my neighbor some beer and he'd do it with his John Deer ride on. My son did the whole lawn no problem with this Toro - i was impressed ! This isn't a product placement thing ; there's no money in it for me - i just like to let my viewers know when i found a good product !
GREAT video....👍🏻 I was actually looking for information on putting the z-bend cable ends into the clutch/brake handles.... Couldn't find NOT ONE video on this... Then figured out that the handles can be removed and hence install the cables!!!! Phewwwww!!!!
Lightweight is good and what did I use it for it’s a lawnmower ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend Yes it is lightweight so hence not as robust as our old one. But if you take care it does the job really well.
My father actually bought me the same lawn mower for me to mow on my first rental house, And I have never mowed in any day of my life, so this video was a huge lifesaver!

Purchased my mower a week ago and could not understand the instructional booklet became frustrated and left it in the garage and paid a someone $40 to cut my grass. This morning intent on getting this thing out the box, I logged onto UA-cam and found your extremely helpful video..... Thank you so much!

I never would have thought about the oil unless it's in the box, which I haven't opened yet. Thanks again from the Valley in Nova Scotia.

That's a great mower right there! I use my dad's when I go over to his house to cut and I've had zero complaints for the past 5 years. With that said it's probably time to do a tune up on it for him lol.

Can I lay the mower flat on the sidewalk (or a smooth stone surface in this case) without the blades touching the ground? Also, How often should I change the oil and what kind of oil should I use? Lastly, how long does one full fill-up of gas last? What type should I refill it with? Thanks so much! Thumbs up :)
Thanks I had to rush out and get a new Toro (had a craftsmen for 1 year and died on me old gas just alittle in the engine and a little I couldn't get out in the can) But trying to get the handle on was just getting frustrating wasn't setting right and the directions not very specific. Your comment on the oil (even though it was 2 years ago) I have a smaller engine and it doesn't seem to take all the oil , I'll check it before the first start. Thanks again for the instruction - Didn't find any right out of the box videos?!
Victor y Jaime. Gucj I have the same one, what did you do about the black cable on the left side? I feel as though it should be connected to the blade control but it's not and it seems loose when I just slip in in the hold on the handle blade control
the instructions with this mower were awful!! This video literally kept me from having to return b/c some pieces weren't assembled well in the box. He showed absolutely everything i needed to get it going!! watched what i needed, ran outside and did what he said, and waaalaaa it worked!!
it makes me cringe when people cant focus their camera right for close ups !! And you should probably inform people the type of gas to use 10% ethenal unleaded 87 octane gas..for most small engines

That's a nice new Toro mower,love the new Kohler engine on it,it resembles the looks of the old Tecumseh engine.

HELP!!!! i have the handle taped back, but the pull start won't come out like you showed on your video. Tried this several times will not pull out!!!
